This is a tough one. But who's the guy you most connected with when he was here?

I'm a big Philip Lindsay fan. He was a little dude that knocked linebackers and even sometimes even DTs on their assess. His loyalty to Sefo was like the loyalty described in Blind Side.

Also, I love Jim Hansen because I'm still enamored with the concept of the student-athlete.

Mine was Chris Brown.

If he hadn't missed 2 1/2 games in 2002, I'm convinced he'd have won the Heisman despite the team being only pretty good.

And, of course, this is permanently embedded in my soul as one of the best days of my life:

Joe. Romig.

5’10” 190LBS TWO-way lineman. Two time All American.

led the buffs to first conference championship in 25 years.

8-0 in conference and an orange bowl trip.

MVP of the buffs and finished 6th!!! For the Heisman trophy

Went to Oxford on the Rhodes scholar after playing, and of course moved back to Boulder to finish his PHD and start his work as an astrophysicist

Joe Romig was different. Joe Romig was THAT dude. Legend

Just too hard to pick only one. Hagan, Al, Bienemy generally tied for first, but so many ranking high up there - Westbrook, Kordell, Bloom, Rashaan, McGhee, Sal, Pritchard, Figures, Leeuwenburg, Klatt, JJ Flanagan, Soupy Campbell...too many to name. Had the fortune to meet Whizzer White once too, so that gets an honorable mention.
