Bryan Stoltenberg--sad news

I am sad to report that an excellent Buff has passed away. Bryan Stoltenberg anchored the 1994 O-line after succeeding Jay Leeuenberg at the position when Jay graduated. Bryan was a great guy who was humble and easygoing off the field. We knew he would go far when he came in as a freshman and kicked ass from the get-go. He leaves behind a wife and family. He was 40. I don't have many details yet.

Stoly, you will be missed by many. God bless.

Condolences. He was a Buff Great. I will always remember his play in the early 90's. God Bless his family.

Way too young, my thoughts and prayers are with the Stoltenberg family.

He was one of the good guys, would have been a great guy had he never played a down of football.

Condolences to the family and all who were a part of his life.

Colorado Football ‏@RunRalphieRun Brian was in a car accident last month; he had some nasty injuries. They suspect that a blood clot may have caused his death.
Brian is survived by his wife, Laura, and three sons, Austin, 16; Jacob, 14; and Andrew, 11. Services are pending.
Brian's wife, Laura, wanted to get the word out to as many teammates and Buff fans as possible.

Sorry to hear that. Is there somewhere to send condolences or a fund for his kids? Maybe we could take up a collection as a group?

Very sad news. Please let us know where to send contributions to the family. Hopefully, Buffs4Life will be helping where it can.

So sorry to hear this. I remember his days as a Buff. You heard his name called out alot. RIP Stoly.
