Official Pre-Game Thread CU vs Oregon

Any of you kids know what the word is on the street (campus)? Are the students going to show up for this game?

Phil Steele's computer picked the Buffs to win. The man himself said he's going against his computer and picked Oregon. He said out of something like 58 games the computer picks each week, he goes against it in only 3 or 4. He also said 'it's pretty accurate, though."

On ESPN's CFB Daily, Phil Steele said his computer picked CU to win this game. Phil decided to go against it though and still picked UO.

But at least we've got that, which is good.

EDIT: Curse you bombay! (shakes tiny fist)

Isn't he the jaggazz who said Arkansas covering a 21 point spread against Toledo was his lock of the week?

Don't hurt me, Luke Buff.

Offensive coordinator Scott Frost said this week that the coaching staff went with Adams against the Utes after watching him warm up and the Ducks have a similar time frame to make a decision against the Buffaloes.

“We are going to see it at game-time again,” Helfrich said. “It will be the look in his eye, the zip on the ball and that air about you of confidence. That’s the thing. It is not like a broken foot and a guy is out. It is a little different than that, so we will see.

Staying cautiously optimistic. Of course the only solution is a W. Annnnnddddd I will leave it at that. Go Buffaloes!!

My hope gauge is near empty. I haven't seen any evidence, so far, that would lead me to believe we will win a game we are an underdog in.

-We continue to not pressure the quarterback
-We continue to allow the opposing RB to get second effort yardage
-Sefo continues to not recognize wide open receivers
-Our offensive play calling continues to be unimaginative and puzzling
-etc.

The Gameday crew (Corso, Howard, and Herbstreit) all picked the Dux to win a close one tonight. But just to hear some actual analysis and some time spent on talking about a CU game was refreshing ... that's how long we've been down. Win tonight and maybe we become relevant and worthy of discussion again.

GO BUFFS!!!

Win tonight/play very close and you start looking at the next 4 games like we might have a shot. Lose and its status quo for the buffs. Boys in black and gold have nothing to lose in this game. They should come out playing loose and fast.

I see your team is looking for odd new ways to win already as we have 12 players stuck in an elevator. Its an unconventional way to try and win, but it will not work. For some reason you trapped defensive players on that elevator and god knows they haven't been showing up to the games anyways.
