BEAVERS VS CSU

The gif is so much better.

I assume I'm not alone in hoping that CSU is so beat down and demoralized after the first 2 games that they lose to Abilene Christian in week 3.
Disluke. I want them to win every game after losing to CU. That way, when they go around crowing at the end md of the season, they'll have to remember what happened in the RMS. Half of their fans would literally be ok with them going 1-11 so long as the "1" was CU. I'm hoping that the opposite happens.

As others have mentioned the offense is big.

What also jumps out at me is the size of those linebackers. CSU won't have a speed advantage to the edge so to run the ball they will have to go up the middle. They always have some good offensive linemen but those backers are going to be hard to move out of there.

I remember watching this happen, looking at the score, and verbalizing to my boys, 'Why the **** are you celebrating?'

It was one of my favorite memories of the entire game. Nothing screamed 'little brother' more than that

That OL is going to do bad bad things to CSU.
that O line is going to do bad things to everyone including the Buffs.

OSU will make a statement this season...

I hate to say it But they will be in Pac Championship game.

Just throwing that out there.

30 hours until kickoff. I don't think I have ever been this anxious to watch a game CU is t even playing in.

UW, Stanford, and probably Oregon are going to have something to say about that.

Don't see that happening.

But it could set up some funny CSU reasoning. They lose to CU and to OSU who both go to the CCG then win the MWC.

Sheep reasoning says that means they would be the third best team in the PAC.

I spend to much time around CSU grads.

Drunk post or you recently fell and hit your head?

I know that CSU is going to be undermanned vs OSU, but there's going to be some level of emotional mojo for CSU, what with the new digs, first game, and all the hype around that. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they won this game.

The South has been much more wide open from year to year than the North. Oregon State would be fortunate to finish in the top half of their division, let alone win it.

I don't think they are really outmanned as it pertains to their offense. But your larger point is spot on. That is going to be a tough atmosphere for Oregon State tomorrow.

Consider though that before last season fans of most other PAC teams would have thought the same thing about us being in the CCG.

True, but had SC not held their annual step on their dick weekends, we would not have been in the CCG. UW (lately) and Stanford have proven to be more consistent programs than anyone in the south. Not a knock on the beavers, I just think they'll need more help than they'll get to go to the CCG.

Oregon State Defense ranked 77th in yards/game and 83rd in pts/game last season. They ranked 117th and 115th in those areas, respectively in 2015. They are definitely trending in the right direction, but will need to make a huge improvement in those areas this year to even think about contending for the North. They may be in the "2015 CU" stage this year, where they have mostly younger guys in the two deep, making good improvements, but are still a year away if everything comes together.

Andersen hasn't won a road game at Oregon State, and they'll be a lot of emotions for this one on the CSU side.

Hard to argue it will be anything other than a tight game, and I'm looking forward to tuning in.
