Defense deserved a lot better!!!
They gave the O field position
They had Turnovers
Falk looked bad except for some open field running, and our best player pulling up lame.
Still bad tackling, but they deserve better
There is a reason that Lindgren is now the Co-OC
The next logical promotion is out the door
 
It's taken us 2 quarterbacks throwing the ball 30 times to gain 74 passing yards against a mike leach coached offense-only team that has itself played a terrible game.

Lindsay, Oliver, Bobo are the bright spots for this team. The WR are supposed to be one of the better groups in the country, that's where most of the 4-star talent is on the roster. If we've been represented at all in the draft recently it's been primarily DBs.
 
All time horrible job by the offensive staff tonight. Players too. Injuries on the OL didn't help, but wow they didn't do anything to help themselves. Yes, that includes Chev.


Defense played well enough to win.

2017 has repeatedly gone like this. If one side of the ball plays ok, the other one loses the game.

Their defensive statistics have actually drastically improved this season. They still aren't top notch, but were we in his first season? Didn't think so.

The improvement is well documented. Please tell me how many four stars on that D? And how many Fr/So? I don’t think you know what you are talking about.

Lindgren has got to go. Horrible game plans, horrible play calling and beyond horrible QB coaching. Montez looked pretty damn good last year but he's regressed tremendously under Lindgren's tutelage.
 
I take back what I said about wanting to see anyone else get a carry. Bisharat is the worst running back on our roster, and it's an idictment of our coaches that he continues to get carries.

JL is in the middle of converting a disaster of a 4-3 to a 3-4. He is one of the best defensive coaches in the nation, and he has earned that reputation. I'll reserve judgement on how well he is doing at Oregon for another year are two.
 
We are not going to win again this year. I’ll give them a small chance to beat Cal at home but no way this team wins any road games or beats SC. This season is beginning to become almost a mirror image of 2015 in a lot of ways.
 
We need a Bye Week in the middle of the season! This years schedule is actually not that helpful playing straight through.
 
On the bright side, our guys sure do run out the huddle with lots of urgency when we're punting.
 
Gameplan looks crappy, ingame adjustments suck, player execution lacking but it seems to be more from sub par P5 players than mental errors.

I don’t know what I think of Elliot. Honestly the front 7 cupboard appears to be so empty it’s hard to make an accurate assessment.

I’m over the 2 coordinator system to run a basic spread / multiples offense. Offense seems to lack identity. OL and QB have been a big let down this year. Really leadership in general.

The fact that we can’t consistently recruit four star athletes has always bothered me especially with all the tools now at Macs disposal. These guys don’t really know how to sell the program outside of alumnus chev.

But hey, Mac is really good at screaming at the backjudge for a quarter.

I'm not. I've had this particular issue with Lindgren his entire tenure here. Deep passes are great if you space them out and actually work the underneath stuff first. They aren't high percentage passes.
 
Wow, what a horrible display by the offense. The D deserved better with the effort they put into this one. We have really regressed at the QB spot, Montez cannot hit the broad side of a barn and Noyer is lacking any kind of experience. The Oline is just bad. I know we lost Irwin early but this line has been bad the entire season.

The D played and deserved better.
