Official Buffs vs. CSU Score Prediction Thread

24-23. I think we have to shake the rust off and week 1 to week 2 you typically see big improvement.

Buffs 63
Rams 0

If Ditka was wearing the black and gold you'd need to double both scores.

We should be able to put up a lot of points. I’m optimistic about an improved defense, but until I see it I just can’t pick the rams to score just a few.
Buffs 45
Rams 31

49-17
One thing that happened that we need to change is that Toothless needs to get knocked on his ass a few times and the INT's will start flowing. They starting passing really well when there was no pressure at all on him, and they played prevent zone against 2-3 decent receivers that we need to be physical with. If we get home to someone that should have a couple dozen dentists available in Fo Co, then we will be just fine and the passing game they found will be gone.

I think the first half it's going to look like CU could name its score and finishes the half with 38 points. Then they'll take their foot off the gas in the second half, and look like **** - only score 10 in the second half. CSU defensive players will celebrate tackles for loss like they just won a super bowl despite being down 27 points.

Defensively, CU looks like they could pitch a shut out the first half. Then they get tired and lazy in the second (partly because the offense lets off the gas and starts sputtering), and CSU puts 21 points up. Offensive players celebrate first downs and touchdowns like they just won a super bowl, despite never getting within 3 touchdowns of CU.

We start laughing at them for their ridiculous "celebrations," but by the end of the game we start feeling bad about laughing at them because we're decent people and you don't make fun of people less fortunate than you we've pioneered whole new ways to relentlessly mock them.

I suspect these shut out type predictions--no matter how alluring-- will go out the window in the first quarter.

MM won't run up the score, as has already been alluded to, but we really should win comfortably. Ill be disappointed if we don't eclipse Hawaii's 43.

I'm thinking 45-18. Don't ask how they get 18. I don't know.

How’d the Buffs get 45, specifically?
