Lots of games potentially getting canceled due to Hurricane Florence, including that West Viriginia-NC State game.

Perhaps we will find out more about Martinez's knee injury today beginning at about 11:30 MT

Update from presser via CornNation:

Good to know that Martinez is going to be okay. He got the running game down pat and can learn from his mistakes by watching the CU-NU game. Michigan game is coming up next. 10 AM MT on FS1 on September 22nd.

Pac 12 slate is pretty dull with a couple of exceptions-

Fresno at UCLA-Can the Bruins avoid being 0-3 going into their trip here?
ASU at SDSU-Can Herm prevent his team from getting drunk on their own wine?
#10 Washington at Utah-We'll learn alot about how good Utah really is, and Washington needs to probably win out to have any sort of shot at the CFP.
USC at Texas-Another losable game for the Trojans.

Looks like Kansas had a nice win at CMU. Should bode well for their game against Rutgers who was beat down at Ohio State 52-3.

Coach Frost on whether Martinez’s injury was at least partially due to dirty play (twisting after he was down in the pile):
I want to be careful in how I answer that...you don’t want to think anyone who plays this game would do that...no one knows intentions but that person...we do have angle that doesn’t look very good. We turned it in to the Big Ten and Pac 12...

Grade A whining pussy right there, folks.

Didn’t Texas struggle against Tulsa? They are pretty soft. If USC loses, that says a bunch about them.

I think whatever drought along the Platte River is over with all that crying from the Nub fanbase.

Can't wait for Frost versus Harbaugh next week in Ann Arbor. Maybe a good watch for CU fans during the bye week.

USC is a good football team. Losing on the road at Stanford in a classic slog fest is nothing to be ashamed of. I expect a solid beating of UT.

Let's hope.

I saw some issues with JT Daniels, though. Not in command yet and throws off his back foot too much. They're vulnerable as long as the QB play is erratic.

A QB in that system takes some time to adjust to the speed of the game and learn the playbook. He will get better every week.

And Texas sucks. :sneaky:

It cracks me up that playing UT can turn you into a USC fanboy. :D

Actually, now that I really think about it, while I really dislike USC, I’d probably cheer for them against just about any non-PAC 12 foe.

The storm isn’t expected to hit every part of these states evenly, but athletic directors in all of them will watch Florence’s movements while making decisions on game times and locations. The storm could also affect games not taking place in these states.
