Please do, despite the fact that you can be an ahoel sometimesI live in his district and will run against him when he's up next time if I get an official endorsement from allbuffs.

Time to usher in a new era for the Buffs. Time for HCMT to bring some accountability to these weak mother ****ers in boulder. How cool would it be if he brought the SEC identity to CU and we just smash mouth the rest of these ***** ass teams in our conference.

First head coach at CU that wasn't selected by Mike Bohn in 20 years. maybe we've finally exercised the Bohn curse that killed our program?
Good thing RG didnt allow others to "force" a hire on him.to be fair, Embree was kind of forced on him.
When we hired Embree, I thought it was fantastic. When we hired MM I was underwhelmed. When he scholarshipped his son I was pissed. Hopefully RG is a lot better at this than me!Good thing RG didnt allow others to "force" a hire on him.
Hopefully RG and Tucker can muster up some brain power and (I don't know) schedule a day for HCMT to meet all of the previous staff. . . for F***s SakeMaybe by New Year's.
Should have been yesterday.Maybe by New Year's.

Yeah he hired 3 crap coaches. pretty easy iyam. Anyhoo back to Coach TuckMike Bohn sure is an easy scapegoat around here.
I think MMac was a decent hire...he brought us back to some level of relevance and was probably the only guy at the time who would've taken such a **** job...but he was clearly in over his head at this level in the long run.Yeah he hired 3 crap coaches. pretty easy iyam. Anyhoo back to Coach Tuck

For reals, we should be bitching about MM’s staff still being employed and out recruiting for us.I can't believe that we get word that we hired a new football coach and you ****ers want to have a Mike Bohn debate in the thread about it almost immediately.
Seriously? This is what we want to talk about?

What many don't understand at CU, is that the football program is the most effective means of promoting the CU system to a National audience. This is very important, especially when the flagship University is so incredibly reliant on out-of-state tuition monies. It also engages the alumni, many of which are also out of state. The program needs to be viewed more as an investment that can generate very healthy returns across the entire CU system.
When living in Texas, I was amazed at how alumni from UTEP, UT Pan Am, UT San Antonio, etc all embraced the Longhorns as THEIR team. The footprint was statewide. The goal at CU should be the same level of notoriety across the state, on a smaller scale.
The football program cost the university nothing, it is self- supporting and in fact pays for much of the rest of the athletic programs at the school. Don't want to get into it here but due to some of the accounting methods used it is easy to show the program making money for the university.
What doesn't get counted into that is the fact that a successful football program in Boulder provides the university with exposure that the university, Boulder campus and systemwide, could simply not afford to pay for otherwise. When we are good enough to be on the national networks in a prime time slot how much is that in game commercial for the school worth. Beyond that when the TV cameras go out past the stadium and show the campus with the Flatirons in the background you can't measure that. When they do the cut in showing people on the ski slopes, people hiking or mountain biking in the mountain parks, down on the mall, etc. the image of what CU is gets enhanced in a way the school could never afford to do otherwise.
CU is on an island in the middle of the nation. The school has to recruit students nationally, faculty nationally, research and other grants nationally. Football can put the school in front of an audience that otherwise would not be exposed to it.
Why do you think it is so difficult for the Admin to understand these dynamics? How can someone like Kroll rise to the level of Vice Chair without understanding that the Football Program is financially self-supporting?The football program cost the university nothing, it is self- supporting and in fact pays for much of the rest of the athletic programs at the school. Tucker probably wants a clean slate and RG has actually had to talk him into some type of transition plan to keep at least 1-2 coaches around. Tucker has a plan, he wants to come in here and kick some ass!!!
By the way, I actually miss the BUSH Presidents RIP George H.W. Bush
Because they see donations and money coming in to athletics that they think could otherwise go to the rest of the school. What they don't understand is that if these dollars don't come in to athletics, they're never coming in to the school at all.Why do you think it is so difficult for the Admin to understand these dynamics? Did you even read the tweet? Literally says scheduled to meet Thursday?Hopefully RG and Tucker can muster up some brain power and (I don't know) schedule a day for HCMT to meet all of the previous staff. . . for F***s Sake
