Game Week - Nebraska

game time can't get here quickly enough now. in a perfect world, the fuskers come in tight and overamped (like about 6 CU teams in a row against them) and the Buffs come in confident and prepared. take their early adrenaline fueled best shot and then grind them into the turf.

BTW, MT Coach’s Show is being aired on KOA right now between 7 and 8.

Really enjoyed MT and Chev. Tony Brown is coming up.

Chev said that Tony Brown had committed to TT because he liked Chev. So after Chev was hired by CU, Tony was bummed. Then Chev got a call from Kingsbury who told Chev how bummed Brown was and asked Chev if he wanted him.

Chev talking about recruiting said relationships are the most important factor. Chev said, “Tony Brown didn’t want to come to Lubbock. He wanted to play for me.” Tony is on now and just said “Lubbock is a desert.” Haha.

Actually says a lot about Kingsbury as a person. Not so caught up in winning (or rather the attempt at) that he was understanding enough of Brown to let Chev know. Cool to hear.

By the way. For anyone interested the Pac 12 Network will do the CU vs csu “Pac-12 Football in 60” a couple of times this week. It will be on Tuesday at 6pm and Wednesday at 7pm.

And as an added bonus, Wednesday from 5 to 7 on “Classic College Football”, they will air “2001: Nebraska at Colorado.” I know the outcome of that one but don’t want to spoil it for you.
You can check out the CU v csu condensed game on YouTube. I think it’s an hour. No commercials or halftime.

That was an abberation. They almost won every game. Its just that the refs screwed them, or the weather, or a twisted knee, or a ..........

Last year's game was Nebraska's greatest victory. Fusker Jesus comes back to take them out of football purgatory (supposedly), their god Warden Tom goes into their HoF, and we pissed in their cheerios. The only thing more fun at one of these games the last few years than serenading their salty ***es with Fight CU as they left was 2016 Utah. Regardless of the outcome tomorrow, there's a certain glee I'll have from last year's game that won't go away.

Between the cheerios and the balloons, our bladders will be working overtime.
