#Fire Coach Dorrell

23 points a game sounds a-okay when the last three games combined didn’t even get 23 points. Who needs an OC? Just let the players draw up plays on their hands in the huddle, and adjust according to defensive looks! Razzle and Dazzle with School yard ball! With the money saved on an OC, this Buffs could use to hire a big(ger) name for HC!
I would pay to see that. I sometimes wonder if that wouldn’t be a better system. Coaches tend to overthink things

That’s because he is David Woods is a UCLA beat writer and he covered them back when Dorrell was the HC there. He knows better than anyone how ****ed we are
Yep. Hes been trashing KD for as long as they’ve been doing that podcast. Long before RG hired KD.

Serious question: What would a win against USC, scoring 30+, do for your perception and opinion on Dorrell and staff?
Would depend on how it’s accomplished. If USC turns the ball over 4 times in their territory, CU gets a punt return for TD, then I’d say not much other than good fortune. If CU pounds USC at the line of scrimmage and gets 200yds running and 250yds through the air, then I’d give Dorrell and co a nod and hope they’ve had an epiphany.

I concur. :D

Unless it was followed up with something positive, and something positive in recruiting, a victory over USC is just a watered down version of Hawk's victory over Oklahoma.
I imagine they would be likely to beat Arizona coming off a bye and stand at 3-3 after six games, though, and if they are able to "figure it out" against USC, I feel as though it would kind of change the narrative a bit. Let's be honest, at the beginning of the season, if someone said CU would be 3-3 after the first 6 games, I think most would have taken it, especially if that meant 2-1 in conference play.

Honestly, a loss by USC likely tells me more about USC than Colorado. It probably means that a disheartened USC flat out quit.

I picked us to win 4 games. 3-3 would be astounding.

We will not be 3-3. We will be lucky to be 2-4. I'd be shocked if we are favored against Zona.

I’d wonder where that was against Minnesota and ASU. I have very serious doubts that any kind of meaningful game prep went into the Minnesota game. If they all of the sudden start doing actual game prep, that would be great, but I wonder why it took this long.

RG probably gives Dorrell an extension and we go from pleasantly surprised to outrage again.
