In Dorrell’s presser, he said that he thought rotating QBs would get them into a rhythm because that’s how they practice.

I think they offer him $3.5ish million and cap out at $4.75 million. If they give him full season and they win <2 games, I think he says yes to something in that range. If not, methinks it gets super ugly.
I know a couple of morons, and they are pissed at being compared to HCKD. They will get you for this, if they can figure out how to turn a doorknob and get out of their rooms.
agreed, but I think replacing RG comes later since PD gets to finish the school year. I think timing just won't work, but hopefully we can get a new RG prior to firing KD. Unless he does have a great relationship with KD, then he can talk him into a lesser buyout and early going away party
at least he's zeroing in on the problem, maybe he'll get there before November
I am watching teams like Oregon State and Washington State, teams in our conference with no particular institutional or financial advantages over us (arguably they both have less to offer intrinsically...Corvallis and Pullman vs Boulder/Denver) doing very well this year. They both look good, pass the eye test and have players who can compete. They are both "have nots" and yet we'd kill to be doing as well as they are right now. So this idea that it is all NIL, that smaller market teams and such are doomed in this new era, etc seems to be perhaps true when we are talking about things like National Championships, but not in terms of competitiveness in our conference.
There is no reason we should think we can't be doing at least as well as they are. Jonathan Smith is a great coach. He's also so in love with his alma mater he might not leave even though he could do much better. Wish we could get lucky with a hire like that. Bottom line is the idea that we can't get to their level is a cop out.

Guys, I like where our heads are at, thinking big picture re regents, chancellor, ad, etc. However, I think we're missing the issue at hand. Given the undeniable link between hypogonadism and left leading ideologies, it's derivatives including the lack of physical prowess, I think it's prudent to investigate the water sanitation in Denver and Boulder. I have no idea if it's an excess of flouride or xeno-estrogens but I'm pretty sure we can cover the whole umbrella and shoot our shot all in one go

He's not going to work again. He'll negotiate. Why would he want to wait until after the season to get fired? He is self-aware enough to know he's embarrassing himself each week. He should be relieved to have this misery ended. Let's talk about a soft landing!

For most programs, the money wouldn't matter, and KD is fired tomorrow.

Issue is this: the programs for which the money is no object would not have ever been in the position to hire Karl Dorrell as their HC. A program in 2022 with Karl Dorrell as Head Coach prima facie desperate and financially poor.

Playing the 4-2-5 defense against three teams that run the ball well, and then noticing how little we were subbing the 2 big guys up front was troublesome to say the least, and now we own the worst run defense in the country. If the theory is that the PAC12 teams play a more spread style of play and do not focus on the run is naive because once they watch our film, everyone in the league will run on us
