CU has rejoined the Big 12 and broken college football - talking out asses continues

I'm not thrilled about the big XII but CU made the right move at the right time. Just like CP had to purge the roster to completely get rid of the loosing culture, CU had to get out of the conference where they have been the Rutgers or Vanderbilt of the PAC since they joined. New coach, new players, new conference, new attitude. The next few years will be exciting.
Hindsight would have been a PAC-16 with Texas and Oklahoma (and 2 more)... but that mistake was made a long time ago. There is absolutely NO business model thinking. The Pac-12 died because they stuck to the 1900's view of elite academics and kids playing sports.
The Pac-12 refused to believe that College football is really a business.

I’m just happy that Utah will get the chance to wander in the desert like the heroes from their favorite Book! What a fun reenactment for them!

I've got mixed emotions on that. I mean, I don't love the Utah fans or school, but I don't really hate them either.
They truly did everything right from a program standpoint. They built a winning tradition and I enjoyed watching them beat Alabama in a BCS bowl a while back, and I also enjoyed their annual drubbing of USC (even if it kept the PAC out of the playoffs).
What is preventing them from being a desired piece in another P4? That they used to be a Mountain West team? That doesn't seem fair.
So on one hand, **** Utah. On the other, their exclusion feels like just another thing wrong with college football.

In a perfect world BYU, ASU, UofA and UU would create the Joey Smith 4 conference and go off in the desert and preach diddle each other for eternity.

I'd like to see Utah come along. Putting them in the same conference as BYU would bring the lulz.

I feel like Utah is really getting screwed in all this. I think it’s somewhat self inflicted, and somewhat imposed on them by BYU. Given the choice between the two programs, I’d take Utah every day and twice on Sundays (when BYU won’t even play anyway).

I grew up in a town with a high mormon population. I'll be your wingman on this one.
Its not a game changer. Its a dog **** conference full of ****ty programs in boring states populated by fascism loving republicans. Outside of BBQ the food is awful too.

Means to me Fox is going to enforce their 14 team cap, unless it's the right programs. So It is UO, UW, and UA or likely just UA.
I'm talking about at the schools themselves. Far more Mormons at BYU than at UU.

I grew up in SW wyoming in a town that was 90% + mormon. I was really happy when I moved to Colorado in the 9th grade and the dating pool expanded considerably.
