One live national reaction show I listened to was talking about how good CU looked but of course had to qualify it by discussing all the mistakes TCU made (2 red zone INTs, penalties, etc). No mention of CU’s blocked FG, fumble, long kick return, dropped INTs, etc

When all you see is one team making plays and mistakes, their execution or breakdowns, you are looking at the game with bias.
I fully embrace that I'm a CU homer and watch us play with bias. It's very different than how I watch and evaluate when I'm just enjoying football without a rooting interest. When I watch/ listen/ read a "professional" and their reactions/ analysis are mirroring those rooting interest fan takes, it's pretty obvious that they are heavily biased. I hate that. Much different if you were talking about a show from the DFW area.

Worst game I’ve ever heard Gus Johnson call. He repeatedly called the wrong player after plays, called the wrong yard line, called a touchback on our punt to the 1, called the incomplete missed TCU FG, criticized our RB for going out of bounds at the end of the game and was oblivious to the fact that he gained a first down and, therefore, ended the game…
My surreal observation is how well coached we looked. Other than the special teams, it is obvious that these guys know what they are doing

Guy played 120 snaps on a hot Texas day running all over the field and he still has the energy to do that after the game?
What kind of shape is he in and what kind of ridiculous dedication does he have to get and stay in that shape?
The natural athletic gifts are obvious but you don't do what he did today without an immense amount of hard work

Fact is, we went into the opponent’s home, as a 20.5 point underdog, with a team not really fully assembled until a few short months ago and with a coaching staff of which several hadn’t coached a team together, and beat the No. 17 team in the nation who played in the National Championship game 8 moths ago.
Gus has always been a pro.
I know that for some announcers preparing for the game involves watching a lot of game film so they can get to know who is where and when, get used to putting names to numbers and following tendencies.
Not saying this was the problem for Gus, just don't know but just like the rest of us he had very little to work with coming into the game. This team is a whole new collection of players running an offense (and defense) that is new to the players and the fans
Announcers can normally anticipate a call much of the time. Today he had no better idea of what to expect than we did.
I just don’t like the “TCU lost this game” narrative, rather than “CU won this game”, which is what that show kind of felt like
Game sheet had him as playing.

The last nine months really have been, and its really made me look at Rick George in a new light. I thought Prime was going to do great things when an AD finally had the balls to give him an opportunity because of who CP is. He interviewed He needs total control of the football operation from the jump.....and that's why this situation is PERFECT for him. I don't see a lot of SEC (in particular schools) being able to get out of his way like CU can. I thought the baseball comment was telling-this is a guy who prides himself on his honesty. He wants to build another Alabama HERE, and he took a brand new team to TCU and beat them 9 months after they played for a national title. This team is definitely better than I thought they were, and I had 6-6.
RG has taken a ton of **** here, but he had the guts to make this move when a number of other schools (TCU included) did not. The sky's the limit here now, and its because RG believed in Prime.
