Yep. Wilkerson is further along in pass pro. When he started getting reps, Shedeur had much more time.
Yeah, they gotta work on that, because the Duck defense was watching that first half and drooling.
Agree the pass pro wasn’t great at times, but Shedeur held onto the ball too long and didn’t throw it away when the opportunity was there. Great QB, best we’ve had in a LONG time, but there are still things to clean up.
The coaches are watching what TTU is doing to the dux and are drooling.

Shrout is terrible. Check out the stats from his first two games. What were we thinking?
Dorrell was thinking about his patio furniture, cards at the senior center, morning coffee, and all the other things that occupy the minds of retired football coaches.
he wasn't thinking of anything that required an actual effort to recruit better players.

The $20 I put down in Feb on Shedeur at +15000 to win the Heisman is surprisingly looking like it might not have been equivalent to just setting it on fire.
I mean, I'm still gonna lose it, but it at least appears to be reasonable instead of the "why the **** did your drunk ass do that?"

Considering that he's the only one playing two P5 teams and one decent one and the former a national title game attendee last year is sensational. This is easier for Shedeur than the SWAC because of what's around him. He has Hunter, Weaver, Horn, Dawson, Gaines is back again, and Antonio. He has a lot of talent around him. His OL got a heck of a good game for the Nebraska game, especially Tank.
8 sacks doesn't seem like a good game for the o line. I know some of it was 2 holding the ball. But the first half especially, he had minimal time to throw.
Coverage sacks can't be blamed on the OL and sacks where there is 6 or 7 rushers also isn't generally blamed on the OL. Now the pressures with a 3 man rush should be blamed on the OL. It seems like they did most of the blame on the interior blockers this game.
So what do you think was the majority of the problem yesterday?
Bad playcalling. Nebraska DC outschemed Sean Lewis. That said, Sean did the same to TCUs DC.
Sean abandoned the running game even when Nebraska was begging him to run. Prime was pissed about it

Analysis may prove me wrong and I was drunk, but I think Wilty played better in Week 1 than Beebe did in week 2.
The interior DL for Nebraska was good. 0 was causing issues. It's going to be something to keep an eye on because Bear Alexander is coming soon.
After the fiasco on the goal line, trying to throw it, I could read Prime's lips talking on the headset, specifically was "we have got to run the ball." With the jumbo set guys in there, on the first attempt if the RB follows the lead block to the left he scores. Could have run that play again and probably gotten 6.
I'm not sure how they score sacks, but there was at least one and I think two times when Sanders was pressured, scrambling, and then ran out of bounds behind the LOS rather than throw the ball away. I think those factor into the large number.
I would also say that Sanders is pretty much never looking to run. He's always looking down field for someone. There were plenty of plays where he could have run a second or two earlier and probably picks up a few yards, but he was trying to find people down the field and ended up getting sacked. There's one in particular when 11 basically grabbed him with one hand as he was trying to step up in the pocket and then run out along the LOS looking for someone. Given that at least two of his TD passes and several other big plays this year came on these types of plays, I don't hate it at all.
