Official Colorado vs. Oregon game thread

Season 17 What GIF by America's Got Talent

I am pretty happy about this game actually. I think CP felt too good after the first 3 weeks.

I think he had some ideas after the CSU game, especially when he said "patience" as the answer to how did he feel after that game. But this game has to be something he will remember for a long time. First time 21 points underdog in his life, and his team didn't back it up.

It shows to CP how far away are we from the the top programs. And he will get us there.

Oregon had this game circled.

Oregon is very very good this year. Lanning has them humming.

CU is still ahead of schedule rebuild-wise.

However, we still have a LOT of work left to do.

This team needed to come back down to earth and this ass kicking will ideally serve them well.

Everyone had this game circled. They are getting all of the national attention. That made everyone bring their A game and as well just seen, we can't match better teams A game

Racism is one variable here. I think the other is that Prime is a harbinger of change and for some acts as a symbol that shows how college football has changed with NIL and the portal. Some folks don’t like those developments (and I don’t blame them for for not liking the direction the sport has moved in) and their project their feelings about this into CP as he acts as a symbol.
You are absolutely correct here.

It isn't just that Prime is Black. It is that he is Black and doesn't put a moment into being deferential to the white establishment.

He is always respectful, doesn't get into little pissing wars with others, holds himself and his players to a high standard of conduct, is openly Christian but not pushy about it. and he is supremely confident.

At the same time though he is proud to be a Black man and encourages his Black players to be proud of who they are as well. He stresses preparing themselves to be successful after football.

In all of these aspects he is threatening to the establishment that believes college football and society should conform to their established ideas.

This is a big part of why I don't believe that Prime is going to be leaving CU anytime soon. Seeing the success he has had so far I'm certain that a lot of SEC/ACC schools would be willing to throw a bunch of money at him but how many of them would be willing to let him be him? How many of them are okay with his priorities and him and his players being who they are?

Beatdown. I'm looking forward to our next game against those guys whenever it may be.

Who is Coach Prime going to recruit before the Pac-12 Championship game?
Lmao! It's over Broski, we aren't beating Utah. We need some luck to beat Oregon State and UCLA. USC and TCU were the upsets but only due to Shedeur and Travis. Without one of the two, we can't upset them either.
