  1. First round exit

Or we could switch it to the PAC 12 tournament and call Skidog a prophet?
  2. Game thread- #23 (NET rankings) Men's bball opens Pac 12 Tourney vs. #119 (NET) WSU (Vegas, Wed, 3/11, 9:30 PM MT, Pac 12 Networks)

It’s a sad life lesson. Sometimes things don’t work out the way you expect / want. Sometimes life’s not fair. But yes it’s awful to miss out. Some unknown champion will never get to celebrate. Along with their fans.
  3. Tad has to go

2016 was a magical season for both basketball and football. Kinda...
  4. PAC12 tournament status

And I want to confirm that I have from a reliable but anonymous source that the Buffs were going to be given a #2 seed because they beat Dayton and because the selection committee is so impressed at how clean Tad’s program is.
  5. PAC12 tournament status

No need, the 15 fans that show up can maintain a large personal space.
  6. Game thread- #23 (NET rankings) Men's bball opens Pac 12 Tourney vs. #119 (NET) WSU (Vegas, Wed, 3/11, 9:30 PM MT, Pac 12 Networks)

Another first IIRC - Tad’s Buffs have never lost a first round PAC 12 tournament game.
  7. PAC12 tournament status

What exactly did Chris Duarte do with his finger to get excluded from the tournament?
  8. PAC12 tournament status

Just what i was thinking - your gambling is already underway.
  9. PAC12 tournament status

I can’t believe they’re sending a team to the NCAAs [sarcasm font]. What this actually means is ‘ivy league tournament is pointless, ncaa is important.’
  10. Game thread- #23 (NET rankings) Men's bball ends their regular season at #85 (NET) Utah (Sat., 3/7, 12:30 PM MT, Pac 12 Networks)

No doubt true. But I’m way more interested in ‘feeling bad’ motivating improvement than how they’re feeling.
  11. PAC12 tournament status

It’s sometimes a challenge to beat a decent team (asu) 3x in one season. But I expect we shall see.
  12. NET Watch 2020

This is technically true but realistically we’re in. I could see an argument otherwise if we drop out vs WSU.
  13. NET Watch 2020

Problem is everyone else is scrambling to drop as well.
  14. Game thread- #23 (NET rankings) Men's bball ends their regular season at #85 (NET) Utah (Sat., 3/7, 12:30 PM MT, Pac 12 Networks)

Ok then ... Failing to make the NCAAs would be the last straw of an epic collapse, turning an otherwise disappointing season overall into a disaster.
  15. Game thread- #23 (NET rankings) Men's bball ends their regular season at #85 (NET) Utah (Sat., 3/7, 12:30 PM MT, Pac 12 Networks)

Understand, but can’t see why you need a poll to see how CU fans are feeling about the season.
  16. Game thread- #23 (NET rankings) Men's bball ends their regular season at #85 (NET) Utah (Sat., 3/7, 12:30 PM MT, Pac 12 Networks)

Not that I think we’re actually at-risk of missing the Dance - but 9 or 10 seed is near bottom for big time conferences. The rest of the slots are taken by small-time conference entries.
  17. Game thread- #23 (NET rankings) Men's bball ends their regular season at #85 (NET) Utah (Sat., 3/7, 12:30 PM MT, Pac 12 Networks)

Ending the season with 3 road games (and an inexplicable home loss to UCLA - yes I know they’re hot, but it’s our place - ) put us at risk for an unfortunate end. If we started off the season with these 3 road losses we’d all be excited about moving into the tournament on a roll.
  18. Game thread- #23 (NET rankings) Men's bball ends their regular season at #85 (NET) Utah (Sat., 3/7, 12:30 PM MT, Pac 12 Networks)

If USC, ASU and Stanford win tonight I believe that puts us in the lower half of the conference. Definitely not expecting Stanford to beat Oregon though.
