I don't know who usually makes these recruit threads but Adam and Kyle M both tweeted that CU offered '16 CA ATH David Long from Loyola in LA. 247 has him as a 3-4* CB with offers from UW and UCLA so far. Just thought I'd let you know so ya'll mods can do your thing with a new recruit profile.

Very impressive film, albeit highlights. Fast and explosive with the ball in his hands. Not a very polished route runner (doesn't look like they really asked him to run full compliment of routes) but something that can be taught if they want him as a WR. Would be a great addition at CB, though. It looks like they mostly had him in man to man situations, in which he seemed to do well (again, albeit highlights). Makes smooth turns, breaks on the ball well and has great recovery speed when a receiver has a step or two on him.

He'll garner more "stars" in the next year and, with the offer list he has, coming to CU is probably a pipe dream. One can hope, though.

He can flat out ball. I've seen not only his highlights but some of his work at combines. He has great ball skills at corner, but he also could be very dangerous at WR with some work on his routes (that will come). It can also be noted that he is great friends with Devin Ross and Devin made it known that it was about time for the CU offer. Hopefully he will talk up CU and keep us in the mix with the big offers that are sure to come.

That vine is nasty! He's going to be highly coveted come this time next year and would be a huge addition for this program. Hopefully Ross can persuade him to come to Boulder.
