The Buffaloes face fourth-ranked Stanford on Friday, Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. MDT in Stanford, Calif. The match will mark the Buffaloes’ third-straight contest facing a ranked opponent. Colorado will look to earn its second Pac-12 win this season. The Buffs finished last weekend 0-1-1 against two top 25 opponents, tying Washington and falling to Washington State.

COLORADO VS. STANFORD: The Buffs travel to Stanford for the second straight season as the two teams meet for the seventh time on Friday. Colorado is 0-6 all-time against the Cardinal. Last season, Stanford topped the Buffs 3-0. The Cardinal scored one first-half goal and two more in the second-half to secure the victory.
SCOUTING THE CARDINAL: Stanford has won seven of its last eight matches. The Cardinal owns an 11-2-0 overall record and are 5-0-0 in Pac-12 Conference play, holding the top spot in the conference rankings. Andi Sullivan leads the Stanford attack with 12 points on five goals and two assists while a pair of Cardinal have also scored four goals apiece. In total, nine different players have scored at least one goal for Stanford this season. The Cardinal have only allowed eight goals in 2015 with goalkeeper Jane Campbell between the posts, posting a 0.68 goals-against average, second-best in the conference. Stanford ranks eighth in the nation, recording 19.54 shots per game and is second in the conference averaging 1.85 goals during each match.
