Ricky Rahne is an interesting name to me. Resume below:
His entire career preceding his HC gig, he has worked for either James Franklin or Bill Snyder. Two guys that are good to learn under, imo. Rahne was a plus recruiter at Penn State (not too hard), and found talents like Trace McSorley and Pat Freiermuth. He took over an Old Dominion program that was up and down in 2020, who then promptly cancelled their season. In 2021, he started 1-6 before rattling off 5 straight to make a bowl game. Fun run. This year, he upset Virginia Tech and kept Virginia within 2. He also lost to East Carolina and Liberty pretty soundly.
Would be a recruit first guy, and an intriguing young option. Definitely a program builder. He is from Morrison, CO, which is probably why he is being mentioned here
