CU +7 is an awfully tasty line.

Their Fire Helton thread seems to be getting the lion's share of their traffic.
Please no. Not directed at you specifically, but Allbuffs spends too much time already talking about what fans on other message boards are posting.Anyone got any links to their boards? What are USC fans saying about this game?
I did learn one thing I found valuable....they are really thin at the safety position. Sounds like they are starting a true freshman for the game. Please no. Not directed at you specifically, but Allbuffs spends too much time already talking about what fans on other message boards are posting.

Landman will be eligible to play at kickoff. Will Landman have to sit for the first quarter or change start on the first defensive play?
Not sure how to respond to this. But I think I like it...Clay Helton not only had his team practice twice during the first half of the bye week, but will apparently be spending the second half preparing for CU AND Utah.
26 players didn't participate in Wednesday's practice, including 9 linebackers.
Compare to CU's bye week, where MacIntyre took it as an opportunity to get them back to the lower practice fields and treated it as a mini fall camp. USC took a break, CU ratcheted up the intensity. Not sure how to respond to this. But I think I like it...
Problem is I don't know what kind of psychomological bull**** he's playing and if it's better for THAT team.Compare to CU's bye week, where MacIntyre took it as an opportunity to get them back to the lower practice fields and treated it as a mini fall camp. If Juwann is a go this week...Helton can't multi-task. He can't possibly coach a practice and study enough film to figure out a way to stop our three headed monster.
If Juwann is a go this week...
Oh dear lord yes! Let’s play Viska on the line as a pass eligible tackle and deploy some receivers! If Juwann is a go this week...

Only because our lines have played very well the last two weeks can I say that even the lines are arguably close in production, not necessarily talent. The narrative that they are more talented certainly stems from recruiting rankings and general national perception. CU has played a weak schedule and therefore are believed to have high statistical output from that schedule. 2 deep USC is most likely more talented across the board aside from receiver. But I would venture many of CU’s starters would start at USC, at least in the skill positions.I keep hearing the "USC is more talented", but what is that based off of - their depth, recruiting star rating, their O/D Lines plus skill? I think it would be hard right now to say that their QB, RB, WR(s), LBs are better than ours. I can assume their lines are better, but I don't know about their defensive backfield. Ergo, just dismissing our talent out of hand seems a little off to me.
I meant what I wrote.Do you mean tight end? I've almost forgotten what those guys do too.
15'.....Cade Apsay and SpruuuuuuuceI've only watched a few quarters of USC this season. Still, I will say that Montez and Shenault will be the best players on the field Saturday. When was the last time we could say that about a CU team playing USC?
