when we win? really? i am a buff fan but also i live in a little thing called reality.
Well, all joking aside, that "62 36" part of your username was "reality." :wow:
What were the pre-game expectations in that 2001 game?
Anything can happen.
when we win? really? i am a buff fan but also i live in a little thing called reality. with the way this team has been playing lately i dont think we win in stincoln. Now dont get me wrong i would love nothing more then to stick it to the fuskers but they are playing much better then we are this year. i think we just have too many injuries to pull this off. but there is always a chance. thats why they play the game.
Keep the faith, brother.
Thanks. its just very HARD living i omahahole and dealing with this year in and year out. it always gets worse this time of year. I am used to it living here my whole life but god it gets old thats all. I pray we win. i would love to come back and eat crow for sayin CU loses when the win and i will do it.
You ****ing better not be drinking ****ing red koolaid.

You know you are very right. Thanks for bring that to light. I do remember how i was feeling about the 01 game. I had very VERY low expectations. much like this year.

No CU fan is really stoked about our offense's ability to move the ball at the moment. And yes, the emotionally detached folks in Las Vegas who make predictions their livlihood pick nebraska by 16.
But, correct me if I'm wrong--among common opponents KU was the only team that nebraska beat that we couldn't. They did it at home and still gave up 35 points.
I'm not pumping sunshine, or saying that we'll win this game for certain, but really, the biggest difference between these two teams is strength of schedule and key injuries.
Keep the faith, brother.

ya, and nebraska had a heisman candidate and quite a few decent players of their own. They had also beaten a ranked team. Be positive man, they suck too!The difference between 01 and this year, in 01, CU had a handful of NFL players and a solid offensive line.
