Last year while at Susquehanna Township, this photo was taken of Iduoze (#78) when the team was eliminated from the AAA playoff quarterfinals:

I'm hoping we are full by the time he is ready to visit (November). Nothing aginst him as a prospect, but I am hoping we get a couple DTs to pop in September/October on official visits.

Nothing against him but go away?
I think CU fans have largely forgotten that recruiting is a numbers game. He has said he would like to visit in November, which is getting late in the game. If he gives indication that he will commit on the official visit, that changes things. But if he is going to wait out the process a bit, time for us to turn up the heat on other targets. We are not talking about Ellis McCarthy here.

He says that he can play a 3 technique or a 1 technique, but he was a 3-4 NT in high school. That seems to be his preferred position. I still feel like that's the direction we're going.

I agree with BB on this one. Hopefully we get Solis committed first. If the coaches want to load up on DLs in this class then, I won't complain. It's just hard to do much of an evaluation on Iduoze without seeing film, but I love his size and don't think our coaching staff would be offering someone from PA/NY this far under the radar unless they'd gotten a good tip on him.

I know what you ment. Just ****ing around. I would love to see Solis and at least one more before November.

Nobody knows this kid except Milford Academy's head coach Bill Chaplick (yet).

Bill Chaplick played OL for Ansonia HS (Ansonia, CT) and later at Boston College.
Steve Marshall played OL at Rockville HS (Vernon,CT) and later at Louisville.
....at the same time, when my brother was playing for Middletown Xavier.

I don't think CU is done looking for big strong DL.

It's pretty hard to have to many quality interior D-linemen. If he is interested I wouldn't mind adding him to the class.

I still want. Lets bring in the beef and push the OL back for a change on running downs.

Something I like about Iduoze is that he's a post-graduate, so he'd be a year older than a true freshman. If we can't get any jucos in, this is a good option for finding someone who is physically & mentally ready to play.

to these kids out east and especially in the NY, NJ area.... trust me when I say COLORADO looks awesome lots of these kids have only seen buildings and inner city - the fresh blue skies and mountains look killer

New Berlin is not exactly inner city. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl

His high school is small town central Pennsylvania, too.

Still, Colorado is always impressive to people. Coming from the eastern US, it is definitely amazing. What passes for mountains back east are considered foothills here.

To put it in perspective, the Poconos are a skiing destination. Highest elevation is under 2,700 feet.
