Man, I guess they weren't joking about trying to reestablish a presence in Texas. This is a really good looking prospect here. Great athleticism for a big fella, did you see the pick six? Hopefully we can make some progress here and with his teammate.

Kid looks like Warren Sapp II.

Based on what? Sapp was 5 inches shorter and weighed 40 more pounds. If your going off of tape show me a d-1 quality prospect who doesent look dominant in their highschool highlight film. This is like one of those white reciever threads in which someone always has to declare that he look like Wes Welker.

Wow, bro. Based on the fact he's heavier than most elite DE recuits but is still a monster. Like Charles Barkley. I don't know **** about recruiting, but I think Javonte is immensly talented and he reminds me of WARREN SAPP. Yes, I characterize all heavy, black athletes the same.

Sapp's not a bad comparison as far as speed, hands and feet. Sapp was actually recruited to Miami as a TE, began there, and then bulked up to DT size. Magee is a lot taller, though.

Update from Rivals -
Since Colorado just offered on Tuesday, Magee and Thomas are both still doing research on the Buffaloes. So far, they have a favorable impression.

"Colorado has a nice campus," Magee said. "I heard it is real nice so I like it."

Added Thomas: "I like that they have a new coaching staff at Colorado. The coach I talked to is real cool. They have a nice school and they have shown me a lot of love, so I like that."

From that same article (LINK), there is also an interesting OT from that school in Ralphael Green. He's 6'5" and 330 lbs, made all-district as a junior. All 3 would really like to go to the same college together.

Not a fan of package deals, especially if we are talking three players. These plans usually change anyway.

Offer list has exploded just a little bit. :wink2:

I switched him from DE to DT.

He's teammates with Leo Thomas who will be visiting soon and IIRC they wanted to be a package but haven't heard anything about him.
