Series vs. CSU: CU leads 86-35 (at Boulder, 51-8; at Ft. Collins, 35-26; Neutral, 0-1). Since 2000, CU leads 8-3 and is 3-2 at CSU. CU won at home last season, 90-83 (ot); CSU won in 2009-10 at Moby (77-62).
CU vs. Mountain West Conference: CU is 169-97 (.635).
QUICKLY
: CU has won three straight games and nine of their last 11 dating back to last year • CU plays their next nine games in the Centennial State, eight of them at home • The Buffs had a season-low seven turnovers against the Bulldogs, making the Buffs 6-3 since 2010 when committing single-digit miscue (Buffs had seven in home win vs. CSU last year) • Head Coach Tad Boyle is 3-2 all-time against CSU, 1-0 at CU.

YOUTH MOVEMENT
: Freshman guards Askia Booker and Spencer Dinwiddie are already paying dividends early in their career. Booker is shooting 55.0 percent from the field (11-of-20) and averaging 12 points over his last three games; Dinwiddie, a starter in all six games, scored a game-high 16 points with seven rebounds in the home win over Georgia.

MAN ON THE BOARDS
: After the win at Air Force game, Coach Boyle told AP one word that described Andre Roberson, "He is a madman." Averaging a double-double (11.2 ppg., 12.0 rpg.) and looking to become CU's first double-double guy since Stephane Pelle in 2001-02 (12.8 ppg., 10.8 rpg), Roberson has nine career doubles, four this year. In addition to 17 games w/ 10 or more rebounds. Against Georgia, Roberson tied a career-best 15 rebounds w/ 15 points.

LAST YEAR vs. CSU
: The Buffs rallied from a three-point halftime deficit with a 65 percent shooting display in the second half forcing overtime and 90-83 win in Boulder. The 90 points for any of the two teams was a high in nine years in the series. Since 2001 and five games played at Moby Arena (CU leads 3-2), the average points per game is 75.6 to 75.2 in favor of CSU.

HOME COURT
: With their 70-68 win against Georgia, CU has now won 26-straight home games in non-conference play. The Buffs were 12-0 last season; 8-0 in 2009-10; and won their last four in 2008-09. The streak is second all-time in school history. The Buffs won 35 in a row from Dec. 4, 1976 thru Dec. 5, 1981.

SCORING: Of the school-record 38 games played last season, Alec Burks led the Buffs in scoring 26 times, while Cory Higgins led six times. This year, CU has had a variety of leading scorers through six games (Carlon Brown twice; Spencer Dinwiddie, Austin Dufault, Andre Roberson, Nate Tomlinson each with one.

This game is huge for the Buffs. Two years ago, the Buffs didn't realize it was a rivalry and showed up flat at the Fort. Can't let that happen again. Seniors like Nate and Austin need to be in everyone's ear because no one else, including the coaches, were part of that.

Interesting stats for CSU. They are shooting 44.4% from the three. We are allowing opponents to shoot 36% from the three. We should outrebound CSU; however, the is an anomaly in the stats in which CSU is outrebounding opponents.

S
ee everyone at the game.

I will be very disappointed if we lose. Not that I think we win... but we cannot lose this game!! The CSU fans will be really annoying then

And Brown needs to show up this game. I think he had 3 turnovers in the first half of the UGA game and they all came off of the dribble.
It was like whatever had been bothering Dinwiddie in the first few games had infected Brown. Brown had NO handles.

This is going to be a difficult game. Hopefully the win at AFA will help. My worst fear is CU coming out flat - that CAN'T happen. Need to be fundamentally sound tonight. Carlon needs to show up tonight, don't see us winning if he goes invisible again

Absolutely. The only problem is Dinwiddie is a frosh in his first college action while Brown is the Senior who should be able to handle it. I know he may have some rust but he really could not handle the ball against UGA. We need him to be effective and get a hot hand.

 The lack of douchnozzle CSU fans trolling this site lately has been outstanding. We need to not lose in order to continue this.

I noticed CSU is favored by 4 pts

This opened at CSU -6 now down to -3. 3 points is essentially home court advantage in college basketball meaning this game would be pick-em on a neutral floor.

Kenpom.com has this simulation of this game with CSU winning by 1 and CU having a 44% shot of winning.

CSU doesn't hit the offensive glass very well, if CU can keep their 2nd chance opportunities to a minimum that will be key as they shoot the ball fairly well. I just hope this doesn't come down to a free throw contest near the end, CSU shoots FT's much better than CU (76% to 62%).

I really think this game is going to come down to how well CU's newcomers react to a true road game. Some players step up to the situation, and really love the pressure, and some just buckle. I would say that most buckle, but I have a feeling about our guys, during the only time they have seen a little bit of pressure was at AFA, and they seemed to love it (Booker and Dinwidde in particular), but that was a half empty stadium full of old people, this should be a pretty loud atmosphere. If they dont buckle, I am looking for a big W coming out of the ****hole up north. If not it will be a close loss.

also, their best rebounder is out, and they rank in the 300's in rebounding. Dre is gonna go animal on them.

Is this game gunna be available on xbox's espn app thing?

Doubtful. Not an ESPN broadcast. It's on *cringe* The Mtn.

WHICH ISN'T IN HD ON COMCAST. I HATE YOU WITH A PASSION COMCAST.

Who has it in HD? DirecTV doesn'v even have it.

You sure? I swore I had it in HD on DirecTV.

I still stand by my statement that Comcast is the worst company in the history of the world no matter what the answer is though.

This statement, it is true.

weird. I guess I do have it. Unfortunately DirecTV doesn't have a guide for it, so I'm having to manually record.

I'll take them over DirecTV any day. I hate those ****ers with a fiery passion.
