Interesting. Do we take this as a sign the coaches are not comfortable with Handler or Kelley as the heir apparent at center?

I take it more as Marshall doesn't mind converting centers to guard. All things being equal, I'd much rather have 3 natural centers on the interior than 3 natural guards. But it wouldn't be the worst thing to take a natural center close to every year even if you kept him in that spot.

Makes sense. One thing I notice about interior line recruiting thus far is that we are going after several huge guys.

The fact that you have somebody you think is good shouldn't stop you from going after somebody you think might be better. If a guy can make you a better football team you recruit him regardless of what you already have at the position.

I like the idea of having a guy who can bury the middle of the defensive line.

Reminds me of Andre Gurode. My new wish list, has 5 OL and maybe 6 if we can get Jordan Simmons or Lacy Westbrook
1. Mathew Cochran C/G
2. Calahan OT
3. Arthur Flores OT
4. Alex Kozan OG
5. Germain Ifedi 0G
6. Either Lacy Westbrook or Jordan Simmons

This kid is a beast. Would love to close on this guy and hopefully his brother is just as good and considers us.

Recruiting's been heating up. Stanford and UCLA have offered. Good visit to Auburn for a camp (no offer). I hope he slow plays this and makes some official visits. I really want Cochran to be a Buff.
