Start. Building. Facilities. Now.

A new indoor facility would help to land recruits like 4* Wes Brown. We will out-recruit Maryland in the near future. We need to be able to win recruiting battles against ACC schools, TCU, Boise St, mid-tier winning schools. The PAC12 should be an attraction to come to CU IF we had some top-end facilities. If you have been in our bubble, trust me it is in bad condition. Go look at Oregon's locker room, enough said. The future football recruits need to see what our basketball recruits are seeing with new facilties (yesterday, not 2 years from now) Start. Building. Now. And spend large like you aren't going to spend again for next 10-20 years, Go Big or Go Home.

What? That tight knit collection of two individual schools from different conferences and a basketball conference on the other side of the country don't fit for you?

cdog. How much will your donations contribute to the new facilities? I'm probably good for a couple of toilets so far. And I feel good! Anyone buy a toilet lately?

Given all the venture capital that flows in and out of Boulder, I demand to know where is the Boulder "Boone Pickens"? Do we need to put some CU Buff flyers on some of those homes in Niwot to find some CEO's that are Buff/alumni fans? Ralphie deserves a $500 million donation. Myself, I still work as an employee of Mastercard and Visa. If they would bring back beer into Folsom Field, I would promise to buy a lot.

So TCU, BSU, MD, and "mid-tier" schools all have better facilities? The "mid-tier" schools have facilities equal to Oregon? I don't think so. More thinking, less typing.

Last 5 years, the "Winners" have built nice facilities. We won't win the PAC 12 South until we have them, and will never win the PAC12. This is why I rarely post, because some guy eating donuts in his tighty whities always has to judge the quality of your posts. Whatever, go watch another episode of Biggest Loser.

And now that we know what we've been missing, I'm not sure how we'll ever be able to carry on with our lives....

this typically only happens when a post sucks, and yours definitely did.

Nobody is going to argue with you when you say CU needs to improve facilities quickly (hint: it has been a running topic on the board for several months).

I think what we are a bit confused about is why you chose ACC schools, TCU, and Boise to be the schools we need to compete against. Competing with those schools serves very little purpose for CU.

At least you actually talked about the Pac-12 and the Pac-12 South in this post, you know, the schools we should be focusing on when it comes to recruiting. That is a solid start.

Why are you so angry? I just asked for clarification. Can you not answer the questions? The last 5 year's "winners" of what? Thanks for going after me personally, and failing to answer the questions I asked. Are you saying TCU, BSU, MD and all the "mid-tier" schools have better facilities than we do currently? They were pretty straightforward questions. Did you miss them? I'm trying to help.

First pabuff and now cdog? Burrito is single handedly driving away the only posters with any knowledge of football.

I was shocked when i heard the news that Brown had picked Maryland over CU, Miami and Vanderbilt. I don't think it is over untill he signs his letter of intent.

Oh, so facilities are all that's keeping us from competing against the likes of Boise St. Gotcha. Well then, let's get right on that 35,000 seat stadium, shall we?

I'm just curious if you were drinking when you posted cdog. If so, perhaps I can assist you since my MO has been to get intoxicated at least once every 3 weeks (usually on a Tues or Wed) and post nonsense. I have a template you can use for future drunk posting:

Intro & salutations.
Rambling point made infused with honest opinion; Praise of CU.
Citing of examples or innuendo suggesting the superiority of my team/school/point.
A sprinkling of passive-aggressiveness somewhere.
Incoherent conclusion.

Followed by:
Entering chat to pick a fight; get curb stomped by everyone in chat and then leave chat.
Find a post by Walrus, BP or Nik somewhere and reply with unrelated nonsense or a put down.
PM Nik or Boulder Buff links to recruiting info that they don’t want or need.
Sign out of Allbuffs.

Works like a charm...especially if you like neg rep and warnings

But it's so nice! We don't have a chance! You are a disgrace for challenging:

The basketball program is gettting a boost from the new facility built for them. They landed a top 25 class. WE have to build an indoor facility/training center for the football program, and also give coors event center a facelift.
