He was all-league and All-CIF Inland Division as a junior. He is also an accomplished hurdler, winning the 110HH and finishing second in the 300IM at the league meet his sophomore year (at a different school).

With our renewed interest in the IE, Hawkins is already getting looks from Colorado and figures to be one of the more highly recruited defensive players in the area.

Hawkins is having a good week. UCLA and Stanford have jumped into the fray.

Not sure he's still a package deal with Tahaan Goodman. I personally like Hawkins as a S opposed to a CB moving forward.

Man, I hope he doesn't fall into deep water. Those studs in his ears will drag him to the bottom!! That is why he should stay away from the ocean and come to the mountains.

Greg Brown definitely likes big corners with a lot of length. For safeties, the direction is to go after guys who could work at corner too so they're able to man up from the safety position if we're facing a spread offense. Hawkins may very well be a safety for us, but he'd likely start by running the CB drills and getting his first look there.

I don't think I could've taken another Hawkins. The last three were bad enough. Lets hope this Hawkins doesn't **** us over as a member of the opposing team.
