Off to a great start. Good thing it's a small class.

Five?

Sefo Liufau - CU
Mitch Parsons - CU and Ole Miss
Phillip Lindsay - CU, Utah, and CSU
Kyle Trammel - CU

I count three other offers. Math is not you're strong suit is it? Good thing it's April and the evaluation period is just starting.

Much as Walk is doing a little bit of trolling here, his post does have a point. Solid start to the class, but let's stop making every excuse in the book when some of our commits do have many offers.

But it's obvious he's just being a pointless little troll or his post would include some analysis of rating services, coaches' evaluations, etc. instead of a popcorn-eating emoticon.

Analysis? Ha. Like anyone on this board can look at a highlight film and evaluate. What a joke. Here's a link to a random CSU DB recruit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNL2zQ1t-TY. Does he look any worse to you than Trammel's highlight film? Of course not! This CSU commit is a hard hitting DB from Class 5A in Texas. Yet he had no BCS offers (lots of lower tier offers though). By the way, he didn't make CSU's depth chart. Yet if he had commited to CU, lots of you would be glowing about his highlight film which looks damn good (of course, it is a HIGHLIGHT film).

Coaches get paid a lot of money to analyze players and to identify good players. They get paid a lot more than any recruiting service and have a lot more on the line as well. The fact that we keep offering kids that no other BCS school has offered is concerning. If you don't think so, you're sticking your head in the sand.

We had the same problem with Hawkins. Go back and look at the comments to some of his commits. I did and it's hilarious. It's the same comments we get now to make excuses for lack of offers.

The bottom line is offers are the best indiciation out there and we continue to recruit players most BCS schools don't offer.

Actually the majority of our recruits last year had multiple bcs offers.

Only 5 players last year didn't have bcs offers.

Compare that with Hawkins' 2007 class, that had 12 of 28 without a single bcs offer.

And of those 07 Hawkins 12, they combined for a total of 12 DI offers. And that's coming off 4 Division titles in the previous 6 years. After Hawkins' garbage 5 years, Embree's 5 without DI offers totaled 19 DI offers.

hey!!! lets be idots!!! and assholes!!! lets respond to him!!!!

give him what he wants! that will show him! respond!!! that is what im gonna do!!!

just shut the **** up you dicks. you know what he is about. and yet... you respond. great job. dumbasses.

as long as you respond, he owns you.

exercise some personal restraint. stop responding to him.

Yep. Offers are a good indication. It's a mistake, though, to jump on the CU staff when they were first to offer. If offers never come, it's a concern (as long as the prospect hasn't shut down his recruiting like Norgard did). But if they do, it's likely that we'll be giving credit to the coaches for discovering talent ahead of the curve. Trammel is likely a good example. Day after he commits to us, Rivals reports an Arizona offer.

walk is a premature ****sucker!

I am actually pleased with the way things are going. I'm really pleased with Sefo and Parsons. Not too sure about Lindsay at RB, or the most recent commit, but overall...pretty decent.

OMG, we were counting number of stars last year in the end of evaluation period, and we are counting number of offers in the beginning of evaluation period. Good try.
