Would be a nice pick up, from all indications. Guessing he de-commited from Illinois due to the coaching change?

Looks like CU, Kansas State and Marquette are the main three schools interested.

****. I don't know why, but for some reason I thought James was a 2012 recruit. I kept thinking that I liked him, but I couldn't figure out why we were going to try to bring in a 7th recruit for that class. I feel dumb.

James is teammates with Nate Taphorn on the Illinois Wolves as well, so there is a bit of a conection there.

I had the same initial reaction. I think it was because of him decommitting from Illinois because of the coaching change. Made me think 2012. I'm having trouble wrapping my head around being in the middle of the 2013 cycle now, especially since we haven't even finished with transfer announcements.
