Oregon Preps (Rivals) absolutely loves him.

Oregon Top Juniors: Class of 2013

No matter how you slice it Kirkland is big time. So raw and so powerful this big kid had an All State Season and we are certain his future is as an Offensive Tackle. He is a major recruit and has and offer from PSU. Great feet and hands with a high ceiling still.

Interesting highlights matched up with that evaluation. He looked pretty athletic on some plays and he really plodded in others.

Maybe there are something missing but a Jesuit kid who doesn't have an offer from either the Ducks or Beavers is a bit confusing to me.

Our staff keeps offering kids who get more desireable offers later. Our staff really needs to do a better job of finding more off-the-radar kids that others won't find.

It's an open secret that Washington, among others, piggybacks and uses CU as a scouting service.

It's not a bad strategy if you have confidence that a staff at a place like CU is good at finding the right kids. Until we win some games we are always going to have to deal with teams being able to steal some of our offered kids. UW is not that far removed from being terrible but they went to a bowl last year and got some good TV time.

This is why it is critical that somehow, someway we get that six wins this year and go to a bowl. We have got to be able to sell kids on the idea that CU is an up and coming program where they have a chance to be part of a winner.

Tui made this very clear in an interview this year. He was clearly frustrated that a number of PAC 12 schools offered a kid after they did. I take this as a compliment and feel pretty good about the lower ranked players we have committed. These guys know what they want and how the "body style" of NFL players look like. I know many on this board are hung up on stars and offers but these coaches are recruiting for a system and know what they want, unlike D2 dipstick.

I know you guys are mostly joking, but Udub didn't offer Kirkland because you did. He was just at the UW Rising Stars Camp last week and after holding his own against some of the better defensive linemen at the camp Sark offered him in person at the camp after watching him up close.

Really? Geez you guys are smarter....
