Predictions for RMS

With the 114th easiest schedule, the loss of Pete Thomas, and tied for most 1st team MWC players I think 6-6 or 7-5 is pretty reasonable.

Not to mention it is a large down year for many schools in the conference (Wyo, Hawaii, Boise, Air Force) etc

I do not follow the MWC, but who do you see as the 6-7 wins, aside from CU of course?

I think it's funny CU is guaranteeing a blow out this year.

News flash: CU never blows out CSU and this is your worst team in at least a decade

A little bit, actually. It would be nice to get JUCOs into CU. I think it's smart that CSU is going the Fresno State route of bringing in athletes they wouldn't normally be able to get by removing all admission standards for them. Window's closing with the new NCAA rules, though.

If he already graduated with his associates, why isn't he on campus/practicing. Lies

NCAA requires 3 semesters at a JuCo and they don't allow the summer semester apparently. Unless you qualified out of high school, you have to spend two years at a JuCo/CC

Easily your worst team in this millenium
I will let the season play out before making that leap. We've had some very bad teams. Last years team was probably the worst I've seen, talent wise. Depends entirely on the frosh class.

Let's not forget DII Danny's first rodeo in 2006.

Depends entirely on the frosh class, whether we have a quarterback, whether a host of guys return from significant injuries, and on whether we see significant development from returning players from the 2011 2-deep now that they're in their 2nd year in this system.

So is he on the team or not?

24-3 (2010) and 38-17 (2008) aren't blow outs? What about 42-14 (1998 - when the Rams were ranked 15th - lulz)? 41-14 (2001)? What about the fact that we've shut you out more than you have won? Last year was probably CU's worst team in the last 25 years. The team is markedly better this year. And we physically dominated you last year.

yeah no way is this team worse than the one that featured the artist formerly known as Bernard Jackson at QB.

The BJax team was poor

Yeah. Offense was so bad that they couldn't even implement the offense. Ended up being run-first with the QB and our leading receiver was a freshman TE since we couldn't complete a pass down the field.

Defense and special teams were decent, though.

I'm not going to break down each game.

Another point leading to an improved team is that we had the 5th most starts lossed to injury last year. Pretty much impossible to match that, so improved health on the team will help also

That's nice Gasm. Where all of those injuries that led to lost starts in the offseason? Probably not.

Good news guys. I knocked out 30 credits at snow community college this morning on my cell phone while on the ****ter. But I am super smart and got a 39 on my ACT.

I think Snow is where Utah grabs a lot of its JUCOs. It's pretty much a football credit factory.

Actually yes. Most of them were in fall camp or early on in the season. Sargent, Caprioglio, A. Gillmore, Caprioglio, Sisson etc. All early in the season or fall camp

Fair enough. I've got you marked down for 6-7 wins. I think that would be amazing improvement given recent year results. I hope the new coach can live up to the lofty expectations.

I really think that losing Orakpo (sp?) is going to hurt a lot, but it sounds like you have some incoming freshman who will carry the load. With so many unknowns on both sides Sept. 2nd should be interesting.

Not really. I don't expect any true freshmen to have to carry the load at any position. NT maybe, but if Tonga qualifies we're set
