Chris Fox

Good for Chris. I wish him well.

But :sad1: for the Buffs, since it seems he will probably be playing for someone else.

He needs to go to the place that suits him best. I hope he decides that is CU, because CU could use some help on the OL.

(Sarcasm) Because, McChesney has a huge background of evaluating HS OL.

Chris will be very good in college but it is VERY hard to start as a true freshman in today's college football especially as an OL.

He won't be transferring back to CU though I predict he'll start at Michigan for 3 years.

It's extremely discouraging that we have no shot at this kid. Just another in a long line of failures of this staff to close on guys we absolutely, positively must have if we're going to ever get back to where we want to be.

Well...do you blame him? Who would want to sign up for this **** under this **** staff?

Hell yes I do. I think everybody should want to come to CU. CU is a magical place, regardless of the issues we are currently facing. The best years of my life were spent at CU, and I can't imagine anybody not wanting that same experience.

Fox reportedly would have been a strong lean to Michigan even if we had been good but the current staff gave us absolutely no chance at him. I could live with that except for the fact that in the past couple of years we have had Colorado OL signing all over the country at schools like Auburn, Iowa, Ohio State, Nebraska, Stanford, and others.

I can understand losing a few or some OL prospects to other schools but in what has been maybe the best stretch for OL talent in the history of Colorado HS football we have flat out wiffed, gone O-fer, struck out.

Even Hawkins, as bad as he was got some of the quality OL prospects from Colorado to sign, this staff has simply not connected. You can explain a few, use excuses for a few more. No way in the world can you justify going ZERO.

They did get Mustoe.

Who was arguably the least talented of the group, also who was IIRC a carryover from the prior regeim. Even if you give them credit for Mustoe the record is far from acceptable.
He was one of Embree's first flips, got him from ucla.
