There is more Pac-12 interest coming in, too.

McMaryion, who threw for 3,477 yards with 43 touchdowns and three interceptions in his junior season, said he's been hearing from Colorado and Washington State more often.

"I've been talking to them quite a bit now," McMaryion said.

The B2G coaches were keeping count of how many completed passes McMaryion threw in a row, and when it hit 10 the count stopped. The Dinuba quarterback kept delivering strikes all around the field, and it wasn't just long bombs -- although he did some of that, too. McMaryion threw a nice lofty pass to the back of the end zone, he sneaked passes between defenders and even hit a back-shoulder throw. His motion is a little awkward, but McMaryion gets the ball where it needs to go.

Level of talent he is playing against is probably why he is not more highly ranked and recruited. Surprised he had those kind of stats when he was running for his life on every play. I would think about getting a new OL coach if I were the head coach.

Would have fit right in here last year.

Actually with the college game going to more passing defenses are putting more athletic guys on the edge as rushers. I have heard some coaches say, and it makes sense, that the days of the classic pocket QB are gone. An ability to evade a rush and complete passes on the move is a must in modern football.

Kid also looks pretty solid for 180, should be able to add some weight to that frame without compromising his mobility.
