Enwere was his district's offensive MVP as a junior with over 1,200 yards rushing and 16 TDs. He seems really open right now.

Wow. Speed, size, great vision, quick feet, good receiver. About the only thing missing is regularly running over people b/c he so frequently makes cuts and/or outruns all the defenders.

Bet he gets tons of BCS offers-hopefully none from Texass unless he wants to get out of dodge.

I really like him as a prospect as well. Just looks smooth as a runner. He is the type of player who could make an early impact.

We can't beat out the Texas, OU's, and A&M's for prospects yet but I would like to see us beat out SMU, Rice, Houston for certain 3 star type RB/ATH's and other skill positions when we set our mind to it. I think that is a place where Embree and Bienemey and co. really let us down. I would like a couple (top 50 at there position) skill players from TX each cycle.

I will put the word out to my homies... Talk to this kid. I grew up in Austin and was from Missouri City at birth and am now in Colorado. Maybe this kid will keep following that path. Colorado blows Texas away... Why I am still here... Bring it on Mr. Enwere, you will love Colorado.

Enwere is on the verge of being a major BCS prospect. He stole the show at the Houston Nike Camp yesterday with a huge SPARQ score (highest on the day by far).

Good size, good speed, and athleticism to boot (41" vertical).

Not sure if that is good news or bad. I guess it is a sign that HCMM and co recognize potential earlier than others, but it also means we are going to have some stiff competition-and lately we haven´t done so well with prospects with many BCS offers.

He's gone national now. Offers from Michigan, Wake Forest, and North Texas this week. He had recently said that CU and SMu were his favorites

Man, if we could just show some decent improvement from last year I think Mac will be able to start landing some much needed recruits like Enwere.

I'm guessing Coach Walters will stop by this coming week:wink2:

Good player, good athlete, important recruit.

One Texas running back Vic Enwere is holding 12 to 13 offers, but stresses the relationship he has built with Colorado assistant coach Troy Walters as being one of the reasons he plans on making a trip to Boulder later this summer.

“I definitely have interest in Colorado,” Enwere told BuffPlayBook.com in a recent interview. “Coach Walters and I have built a great relationship, he has taught me so much already and he isn’t even my coach yet.”

Clocked a 4.46 forty (down from the previous camp 4.61).

This is a recruiting battle I'd love to win.
