'14 CA RB Squally Canada

Must get for the name.

Hopefully we stay on him even if he commits to Boise. Maybe we win a little more than he anticipated and get him to flip late.

His name just made me think of something, it is kind of amazing that there are no Canadian Universities that participate in NCAA sports. One would think at least a few would attempt to pull in the countries best athletes of basketball, hockey and even american football and throw it into the mix with the Big 10 or Pac 12. Weird.

(Sorry for the tangent)

Very likely to commit to Boise soon, but really like to see the coaches working their Bay area contacts. Underrated talent area.

they do at the D-2 Level(or at least did for a short time), but this is not the place for that

Trying to find out if I'm related to him, since we share the same last name. Contacting my family out in Cali.

You pronounce your last name KAY-NAY-DAY, right? Not the boring way that "America's hat" is pronounced?

No it's pronounced exactly like the country up north. We have a very large family from all over the country so it's not hard to not know who you are related to.

For those with a Rivals sub, there is a new article on Squally. I'm not a member over there, but from the headline, it appears that he'll be visiting Boulder this summer.

While he remains committed to Boise, Squally has told them that he plans to take some official visits and the Boise folks have told him they intend to keep recruiting other running backs. One particular Colorado prep running back has stated a particular affinity for Boise, so this will be interesting to watch.

On this one, if Canada actually takes his visit to Oregon State there's a very good chance he loses his scholarship offer from Boise State.

Happened with 4* Marcus Rios a couple of years back. He committed early, then decided he wanted to take a couple of official visits. While he was doing that BSU got a commitment from Donte Deayon and when Rios asked to recommit to Boise he was told he could not.

True. Patriot...

Oh, hell. I can't do it. Freakin Canadians and their skunky beer and shriveled up ham that they pass off as "bacon".

Canada has had his scholarship offer from Boise State pulled and is no longer a commit.

Oregon State and Colorado are likely going to get official visits.

Sounds like it will either be the Buffs or Beavs.

"When I committed to Boise, they told me that if I took any visits they would pull my scholarship offer," Canada said. "So I decommitted and I don't plan to take an official visit to Boise, I'm done with them."
