Good player on a bad team. Teams are mostly looking at him as a DE, but he also showed well as a LB at the Army combine last month and was a first-teamer on defense over some more highly rated LBs.
 
Looks like a solid prospect after his performance at the Houston area Nike Camp yesterday. Good size and decent speed, especially if he can grow into a DE.
 
247 lists that he was supposed to make an unofficial to CU on 4/5. Not sure he made it, but hopefully he did.

And Adam confirms.

Saw on ESPN that he's camping with the Longhorns today and working with them as a TE.

Oh boy, they do sooooooo much to develop TEs there. Typically have 5 on scholarship and none who step up on gamedays since Finley left early and got himself drafted. The knock on their position coach is he's just there as a former Dallas area high school coach because of his recruiting relationships, no accolades for much of anything else. Zach's got a much better shot playing defense.

If that speed is accurate, he'd be a monster TE.
 
Hope the staff stays on him, appears that Houston came out of no where. Adam said he really, really liked us but staying close to home won out.
