Getting a great education has one California athlete considering the University of Colorado. Outside linebacker Louis Vecchio currently has nine offers, with three of those offers coming from Ivy League schools. According to the talented defender, it’s Colorado’s academic reputation that has him looking a lot at the Buff Football Program.

How many DE/OLB type's are we taking this class?

Don't know but as much as position balance is important it is more important to improve the overall athleticism of the roster. If a kid is big, fast, smart, and can play at this stage we bring him in and find him a place to play.

Iirc we're recruiting him at TE. He wants to visit Boise State, Yale, and Harvard. So if he wants to play fbs ball with good academics, then we're the choice as of right now. We could be the favorite unless Stanford offers

Really irritating to see CSU starting to pop up with some of these kids. The sheep don't belong in Cali.

They've always recruited California, but we just weren't recruiting anywhere near the same caliber of player until recently.
