Not sure if we've offered, but I know we're interested. Kid's from Mater Dei and plays for the Compton Magic, so the fight will be intense if we do go after him, but we've gotten players from both programs before...

I love the quick release. With his defense, athleticism, range, and the fact that you know he'll be coached up by that Mater Dei staff, he seems like a great fit for what Tad's doing.

Mater Dei coaching up? That'd be a first.

I've got to get used to the new level of CU basketball recruiting. Not from the standpoint of being in on 4* prospects. That's been the logical progression. What has been hard to get used to is talking to CU fans and hearing them debate a guy like Pflueger when 4 or 5 years ago everyone would have been on their knees praying that Rex would come for an OV and give the Buffs consideration. It's a good change, but I'm having trouble getting used to it.

btw, I like Rex quite a bit. He'd do well here and give us another guy who would pose a difficult matchup for opponents.

Guess I don't pay attention to other boards but not seeing much of a debate on Rex. Think we'd all be jumping out of our banana suits if we got him.

There have been debates on Rex vs Hemsley elsewhere. Honestly, I'm not getting my hopes up about Rex just because he plays for the UCLA farm team. I would LOVE to get him, but I'm choosing not to get my hopes up.

I see. Guess I'm not there yet in terms of debating which top 100 player I'd rather have. I still just get giddy anytime we pull in 1 or 3, especially out of state.

Signs point to you being absolutely over the moon for the 2015 CU class, then.

Crazy thing is, we could pull in that dream '15 class and still end up near the middle of the PAC recruiting classes if most of these west coast guys stay home. This could be a monster class for not only CU, but the entire PAC12.

That scares me---he loves him some SC dunks! Buffs need a drop-dead Euro-shooter, ala Brady Heslip or Levi Knutson!

Nothing wrong with a kid with a well-rounded game. And we don't really need someone to hit 50% from behind the line, although it would be nice. Really, just a guy who can stretch the floor would do it.

Rumor has it that he may be changing AAU teams. Rivals has him listed with the Oakland Soldiers now.

Looking at that offer list, the only teams that scare me would be Cal, Florida and Notre Dame. I think we match up, program wise, favorably with each of those schools. Any idea if he's leaning one way or the other?

His brother is a walk on at USC. I think that is probably the team to beat. 5 of 6 predictions on 247sports have him going there.

He's with the Oakland Soldiers now? How fortuitous, time for Will to get in his ear and let him know how wonderful Boulder and CU are.

Apparently, Rex and CU are dating again.

But I'm sure he's still seeing other people. I hope we're putting on our stilettos, that tight little skirt and making sure he can see that little pink thong riding up the small of our back and not just waiting by the phone waiting for him to ask us to the dance. We've been jilted too many times so far this class.

If he signs with us, I promise we can get a restraining order to keep RK at least 100 yards from him at all times.
