I noticed that boyle & co were fairly tight lipped about exactly what type of "knee injury" that fletch had, but I did find it slip out somewhere.

I dont know if it was a full tear or not, but it would be nice to get him back and playing 5-10 min/game before the p12 tourney starts. He's been warming up with the team before games for at least 2 weeks (I think)

Was dunking with everyone before the UofA game.

Are you referring to Fletcher? I was in my seat watching the team warm up about 35 minutes before tipoff and he was moving slowly and stiffly with his knee brace. Hard to imagine him dunking.

Definitely am. I was there as soon as doors opened, watched the first shoot around. He was definitely out there dunking. Not anything crazy like Ski or JHop were doing, but he was getting up there.

There is a shoot around that occurs before the official pre-game warmup. In the official one, dunking draws the team a technical foul at the start of the game. In the shoot around about 45 minutes or so before that, players can and do dunk. Fletch participated in that shoot around dunking.

You're right. He may have been dunking in the first shoot around, but was looking pretty ginger in the one leading to tip off.

Fletch has been practicing and warming up with the team for weeks. I have to believe that he's closer to 100% than you would expect.

Probably best for Fletch long term to not push it.

Depends on whether it's mental at this point. If he's not healthy and risking further injury, he shouldn't play. But if he's having trouble getting over the mental block and is playing tentatively, he needs to put that behind him this year and not let those doubts linger.

With the brace he is wearing, and similar to what SHT wore, how much more damage can he really do to it right now? That things keeps your knee pretty much locked in.

I cant quite tell from what the team is saying, but it looks like fletch could come off the bench tomorrow against stan.

Anyone know for sure? We could use him.

nice good game to get your feet wet. four games in four days is tough so we probably only see him a few minutes tonight.

Hoping for a blowout and Fletch getting 10+ minutes. Great news for him.

Great news! He will be a big help defensively against the 2/3s. I hope we blow them out so he can get 10-15 minutes for sure.
