Ladies final game of the season.

Senior day for the Wilson twins and Rachel Hargis. Also Jen Reese out for the season with a broken bone in her shoulder that she suffered in the last game against UCLA.

Would be great for them to finish out the regular season on a high note with three straight wins. It has been an up and down year for the buffs, but I am keeping my fingers crossed that they might surprise some teams in the tourney next week.

Trojans are going to win because of some questionable officiating at the end. Blowing the whistle all game, and decide to swallow it now.

64-59 Trojans 0:17.

Thanks for the updates. Amazing this team has those comebacks in them, but next year they need to learn how to close. Also to avoid streakiness in the offensive game to keep from getting in a 10+ point hole in the first place. Good luck to the team in the WNIT and hopefully they can make another run for some extra home games in Boulder in the postseason. 2014-15 will be about finding a late game leader, because after Chucky's departure and seeing this year I think the jury's still out.

Buffs fall in the finale. 6-12 in conference play.

Will be a 8 seed against #9 UCLA (could flip depending on Bruins game vs Utah) in the opening round of the Pac-12 Tournament on Wednesday. Will play Stanford in the second should they knock off UCLA. What looked like a promising season now needs an unlikely post season run to reach the NCAA tournament. It will be interesting to watch how Lappe can retool the lineup with the departure of the Wilson twins and Rachel. She will need the incoming freshman class to be as good as advertised.

Jamee Swan has the potential to be a great player in her final two seasons at CU. She has shown that late this season. Now if she can stay out of foul trouble and be that leader at the end of the game.

The incoming class, at this point, consists of two players, Brecca Thomas out of the Houston area and Zoe Correal out of the Bay Area. Thomas is a point guard generally ranked in the top 100 in her class. Correal is most likely a project. CU still has two scholarships available to give this spring, but I am not sure they'll use them.

Amen to all of the above. Jamee has so much talent, but she struggles with consistency, partially due to foul problems. If she can stay on the court and and play with passion she'll be a tremendous asset to the team.

Why would we not use 2 scholarships? Nobody out there the coaching staff wants? We need bodies. One of the this year's freshman never played, correct? Is she getting in shape?

My guess is that the staff isn't going to take someone just to take the someone. They most likely would only give a scholarship if the player really fits the team's needs.
