QUICKLY: Following a bye week, the University of Colorado lacrosse team gets back in action on Tuesday, March 4. The Buffaloes host Temple in their first ever home game at Kittredge Field. First draw is at 3 p.m.

SCOUTING THE TEMPLE OWLS: After a two game losing skid, the Temple Owls bounced back with a 10-8 win over Mountain Pacific Sports Federation opponent Oregon. Temple holds a 2-2 overall record, but has fallen in its only road game of the young season (a 17-9 defeat at Cornell). Eleven Owls have scored this season, with six players netting three goals or more. Senior Jaymie Tabor leads the squad with 11 goals off 22 shots and ranks 18th in the nation with a 3.67 goals per game average. Freshman Morgan Glassford has recorded three goals, an assist and seven ground balls. Goalies Jaqi Kakalecik and Rachel Hall have each spent 120 minutes in the crease, allowing a total of 39 goals and grabbing 21 combined saves. Kakalecik ranks in the nation’s top 23 in goals-against average (7.00) and save percentage (.500).

Final score: CU 15 Temple 6. Congrats Buffs!

Holy crap!

I didn't think for a second that CU was going to be able to dominate a D1 school from that area this season. Temple may not be great, but any school that is recruiting the greater Philadelphia metro (Eastern PA, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland) should be better than us right now.

I'm impressed by this one.

I definitely wasn't expecting that score or even that we'd win, I was just hoping that we'd keep it somewhat close. Great win for the Buffs.

Temple just beat Oregon (10-8) who was preseason #4 in our conference. This does look like a nice win, especially how CU dominated the game.

edit: This comparison will be fun to watch this season, last season was USC's first year of Lacrosse and they went 8-10 and 5-3 in conference finishing 4th. CU currently 3-2, 0-1.
