Here's that interview with Ykili. He's going to be special. This is likely my last story for BuffZone as I was emphatically told over the weekend that my job is page production and copy editing, not writing. Looking to find somewhere else to host these stories, hope to keep going on my own time. Thanks as always for reading.

"Cool dude, funny guy. Soon as I get up there, I've got to beat him in a game of basketball. They were in contact with my coach for a long time. [CU has been in contact] for about a month now, a month and a half." -- Ross on MacIntyre

"I'll go anywhere ... UCLA, Washington, Arizona State and Boise State. Colorado I know is going to. [CU] offered my boy Jihree too, Jihree Stewart, that's my guy. We have similar offers. We have Oregon State and I know he has Colorado, too. He plays on my seven-on-seven team." -- Ross on schools showing the most interest and his friend who plays for Corona Centennial.

That's such a shame that they won't let you write anymore. You did a great job and provided us with some great info and I hope you get a chance to write somewhere.

Thank you NKR for all the info you have given us here. I agree with the others Buff Zone is shooting themselves in the foot telling you not to write.

I wish the administration here had more cushion in the hookers and blow account to pay you to do some writing here.

Thanks, love hookers and blow, but who doesn't. Looking to find another site to post this business and keep rolling.

Um, I'll pony up the $15 Club fee to keep you around here (and lose the intramural avatar next to your name). First trip to Colfax is on me too.

Could you imagine the meltdown the resident dip****s over there would have?

They'd just blame allbuffs. Although I can't imagine that even the die hards over there really have their hopes up for that site lasting much longer under its current management anyways.

Serious question.

How many people here would be willing to pay an additional $15 a year (on top of normal club membership which would be required) to have access to a certain amount of extra content provided by NKR and/or other aspiring writers.

Might release that content after a certain period of time (one week) to regular club members and a few of the stories to general members as a lure to become at least a club member.

Just thinking, probably a number of ways this could work.

I wouldn't mind it, but I'd like to have some say in terms of the recruits that he talks to / questions that are asked. I'd like some more local coverage and not just the top guys . Not the guy going D3 or anything either, but those borderline scholarship guys. I don't even know they exist until they announce on twitter that they're walking on.

I'd also like NKR to give us a genuine feel for the kid after an interview(s) on the forums.

For $30 bucks a year? You want warm towel and a neck massage too?

Well, he's already here. He's going to be doing what he was doing. It could be temporary. Maybe it's a gateway into something better.

The 24/7 idea sounds best if he can get it. He can bring on writers from other teams to talk on the board pre-game or when we're in a recruiting battle or something. Just whenever we're interested in other teams for some reason.

Those economics don't work for NKR otherwise we'd already be doing it.

Thanks guys. Definitely won't be writing any more for BuffZone but still working at the BDC, looking to keep going on the side. Probably take a minute to figure it out. Send all cocaine etc. up to Boulder.

Wonder why buffzone doesn't want anyone doing high quality recruiting stories. Stories that are proven to drive traffic. Weird.

I'm pretty sure it was already headed that way.

BDC now tied to the Post and I would expect Post management and post stupid logic.

They might be afraid that if to many readers start to like NKRs stuff they might have to pay him and they are more concerned right now about being cheap than being good.

How else could you explain some of the assignments of beat writers from the Post to the Buffs in recent years?
