Buffs Mens Lacrosse seeded #2 for postseason tourney

The 2nd seeded Buffs won their first round MCLA championship game against Minnesota-Duluth 8-6 yesterday. They face off tonight against 7th seed Michigan State @ 7:45pm.

Michigan State did beat the Buffs in Boulder 11-10 in March of this year, but the Buffs have been rolling since mid March with 11 consecutive victories (including a 9-6 win over CSU at Mile High). Should be a great game and hopefully the Buffs will come out flying and get enough offense to advance.

They are actually streaming these games live through the following link if you are interested in watching.

You can also follow the game via twitter @CUMensLacrosse.

Go Buffs!!

Congrats Holic and Holic Jr. The hard work has paid off. Athletically gifted as well I'm sure. Colors bleed deep in the holic home.

Chapman knocked off CSU, very good program and I wouldn't be shocked if they knocked off ASU.

Games can be viewed online at MCLA.us, I haven't had much luck getting it to play.

I think that a lot of the other programs made up a lot of ground on CU and CSU from last year to this year. Between the two programs, there were only 3 losses. All were CSU beating the Buffs. This year, the parity is much greater, and I could see any of the remaining teams winning it all. I think the final will and should be CU vs. ASU, but would not be surprised by an upset.

Buffs play at 6PM tonight against UCSB.

CU beat UCSB in March of this year in California 6-4.

Should be another great game and winner will move on to take on the winner of the Chapman vs. ASU game later tonight.

As before, you can watch the game HERE if you want to.

Down 3-2 after 1.

The football team should take notes on how to do a matte black/gold helmet.

The post game interview is pretty classic. Almost seems fake

30 minutes until game time. #1 ASU vs #2 Colorado for the MCLA national championship. 2nd year in a row CU will play for the title, losing last year to CSU.

Live Feed

In a previous meeting on Kittredge in March, ASU won 8-6.

Thanks for the live feed link. Closer than it should have been at the end, but it was exciting. I know nothing about LAX. What was the penalty against ASU after they won the faceoff with 15 sec to go? That obviously was critical because they had all the momentum and it certainly seemed like they would get a shot or two on goal but they turned it over on some sort of penalty. Exciting ending. Buffs are national champs!
