Parker had 31 catches for nearly 400 yards as a senior in helping Cherry Creek reach the quarterfinals of the state playoffs. He ran that 4.40 at the Army Combine earlier this month. He also was a state qualifier in the 100 as a sophomore.

His speed is absolutely legit. He doesn't put up great stats because Cherry Creek had god awful quarterback play last year. Whenever they went for a big play passing the ball, though, they would throw it to Parker. I'll also don't think he's 5'11". He looked to be more in the 5'9" range.

Did you mean to say 31 catches for 400 yards as a junior?

Must have had a good day working out for the Rams in Denver, because they offered.

Indeed, hope to see them this fall. DJ Luke and Milo Hall also fared well today, per DJ.

US Army Combine in February: 4.51 on first attempt at 40... 4.40 on second attempt... 6-for-6 beating defender in 1-on-1s

Kid is quick. No doubt about that.

Looks a bit raw to my untrained eyes in his route running and his spacial awareness/body control, which was surprising to me because he displayed decent vision and lateral quickness in his punt returns. A couple highlights in there that could have ended up in TD's with a bit more control of his body. Then again most kids in HS are rough since they don't tend to feature pass heavy offenses.

Would be a solid slot guy though. You can't teach fast.

Kind of seems to me like he has more potential than Ross does. Just as fast (approximately), taller, and seems to have better hands. Route running did look a bit off but he was not running routes in his offense so he didn´t have much time to practice them.

Well we need a punt returner, have for awhile. Slot help wouldn't hurt either, attack that middle.

I went to all of Creek's games in 2013, there was another kid that averaged 19 yds. per catch (which was highest on the team according to the team stats) and had 4 TDs, while hauling in over 300 on 16 catches. He seemed to be the real deep threat for that team. I think he was a two way player that started at CB and played WR.

Thanks for the info. Probably thinking of Tyus Carter. Buffs were (are?) looking at him as a CB prospect, I think. So far, the only offer I'm seeing is from NoCo.

From the All-Colorado photo shoot ...

All-Colorado Team: "It's great, it's an honor. Being from Colorado we have a lot of good players this year, it's truly an honor to be on this team."

On teammate and friend Milo Hall: "Milo's actually at practice still. I don't know what he's doing, he's Milo, he does his own thing. He said he was [going to commit on his birthday Aug. 12] … it depends … I think he should wait, but it's up to him."

Recruiting interest: "I hear a lot from Colorado and Kansas State. Stanford, USC, they've been in touch, it's just all camp stuff so we'll see."

Players he'd like to team up with in college: "Any of them, honestly. Rope Ruel is a great quarterback. Avery, Eric, Jojo [Domann], Tommy [Lazzaro] is a great quarterback. Pretty much our whole 7-on-7 team is here, Weapon X. Any of them I'd definitely play with."

Sounds like he loves him some Wyoming http://bit.ly/1ulfGi6 (free)

Tomorrow is Milo Hall's birthday, at one point he was planning on committing on his birthday. Not sure if he's still taking that route.
