St. John Bosco H.S. in LA. 5* prospect at SG.

In its scouting report, ESPN compared Dorsey's athleticism to John Wall.

Great pickup for them.

Good for them. They need all the help they can get to beat us.

Keep them out west. The P12 is quickly reemerging as a power conference, with the Buffs at the top of the standings.

Tyler Dorsey was probably the best prospect I watched all summer. Kid is an absolute monster.

Miller is doing an amazing job. Now we just have to get the guys that have a chip on their shoulder. Going to be fun.

Pretty shocking commit. None of our insiders saw it coming. Just gotta land Rabb now.
How many spots are you guys recruiting for right now? Honestly don't know if you have any seniors to be, and you could lose any of Gordon, Tarc, Johnson, or even Ashley to the draft this year or next.

Simon is Rabb' s AAU coach isn't he? I know there's no violation there, but doesn't just about every high level kid he coaches go to Arizona?

Rabb plays for Oakland Soldiers, who Miller also has a great relationship with.

Based on Will's recent article and his article over the summer (maybe early Fall), I don't think that's going to be an issue

Maybe. I think the Buffs certainly have gotten the attention of a number of those recruits. But getting them to sign on, is a different story.

I mean, we signed two just two years ago with Scott and XJ. Granted, Scott was not well known, hell not known at all when he committed but at the same time we have a whole lot more momentum than we did two years ago. Between Hemsley, Pflueger, Grimes, and Boatright and probably some others and the momentum we have right now I don't think we'll have a big issue doing so. Do I think it'll be easy? Nope, but Tad and Co have shown to be pretty good recruiters and good closers when they get prospects on campus.

I think the staff will get quality players like they have since Tad got here; just don't think it's a lock that they will be 4 star talents. Colorado's good play, especially if it continues, has to help their chances. But CU's not the only successful program recruiting a lot of those players. It's hard to predict how each recruiting battle will go. I suspect that the most likely outcome is that CU wins some, and loses some.

You're really going out on a limb with that prediction!

We won't land all of those guys; that's just the nature of recruiting. The fact that there is strong interest from several 4* talents tells me we'll land our share though.

With the SoCal kids, it's going to be pretty tough to compete with UofA and UCLA, not impossible, but clearly they have the upperhand given their previous success and the weather.

In recruiting you miss more than you hit that is the nature of the beast

Tad is doing just fine and hopefully 2015 and 2016 pans out the way the early reports seem to say they might

Tad doesn't define the roles of his guards the same way as other programs. Dorsey can be the point guard at CU and also be the primary scorer. Alec and Cory Higgins played a lot of PG. Spencer was our leading scorer at PG. Ski has also filled that role. He'd do well in Tad's system.

And CU was also the place where Chauncey played and redefined what a PG is, ushering in the era of the combo guard.

UCLA and Duke are going to be very tough to beat. We're talking about a Top 10 player still.

But doesn't hurt to try.
