A full-qualifier out of Atlanta (Ga.) North high school, the 6-foot-3, 260-pound Jackson played his freshman season at Foothill College in Northern California last fall. He recorded 24 tackles and two sacks in eight games.

Jackson committed to the Buffaloes on Saturday morning while in Boulder on an official visit. He will enroll at Colorado this summer with four-to-play-three.

Looks like a really good run stuffing DE that will probably move inside on passing downs....nice pickup

He's been tweeting with the hashtag "Hybrid".

I'd expect him to play both this year and then be a DT as a junior and senior.

It was very important to get another guy in this mix. Accomplishing it with the class balance bump of getting a sophomore was very nice, too.

DOH. That's a loss. Frosh are going to be so huge for us this season on the DL. not usually a recipe for success.

I'm hoping that this has more to do with Samson being eligible and less to do with Leo not having the credits in place yet. My hunch, since Leo's summer school went right to the end of July, is that he needs another course or three this fall before joining the team and this has nothing to do with Samson.
