7'0" 260 lbs. Center out of Dallas, TX. I want this kid badly. 4 Star, 25th Center for '15 according to ESPN. Rivals has him as a 3 star. Could you imagine,

5 - Gordon (6'9) JR, Brice (7'0) FR
4 - Thomas (6'8) JR, Miller (6'8) SO, Boatwright (6'8) FR
3 - Johnson (6'6) SR, Fletcher (6'6) JR, King (6'5) JR
2 - Stalzer (6'3) SR, Pflueger (6'5) FR
1 - Hopkins (6'5) JR, Collier (6'2) SO

I hope stalker is not starting the two.
But I already made a Brice thread. We show an offer and high interest.

No you didn't.

Where are you guys seeing CU has interest in this kid? Verbal Commits doesn't have any offers from CU. Rivals has us with interest, but no offer. 247 doesn't even have us with interest (of course, 247 doesn't have a CU site so they're not real up to date). Just confused where this one is coming from.

Also, for everyone hoping for a big in the 2015 class, I wouldn't get your hopes up too high. From the sounds of it, Tad & Co are pretty happy with our current assortment of bigs and are going all in on DeRon Davis in '16.

Goose - I saw the name the other day on ESPN when I checked the "Considering" tab for our 2015 recruiting.

Gracias. Couldn't find anything on the others and must have missed his ESPN profile.

Goose, I would agree that I am happy with the current bigs as well. But we will most likely lose Scott/Johnson after next year. That leaves us with Gordon, Miller and Thomas.

I'm in 100% agreement with you. I'm just saying that the last I heard (well over a month ago) is that CU wasn't planning on going hard after any bigs in '15.

A 7footer who is skilled and isn't a twig.
That's a game changer.

Can be. But USC basketball might beg to differ.

If we're talking about an elite center, absolutely. But we can't be recruiting plodders. I'd much rather have a bunch of athletic 6'6" to 6'9" guys and no center than to put a plodder in the middle.

We play man defense. Our "5" has to be able to guard a bit on the perimeter.

Slow your roll, breh. XJ hasn't even been an honorable mention all-P12 player yet.

We could use a true 7 footer w/ projectable skills regardless of whether Josh Scott is a 3 or 4 year player. Surprise, surprise, Brice looks like a lefty.

Judging from the film posted about, which was from his sophomore season in HS, I'd be going ofter him very seriously. He is no stick in the mud, rather he is very mobile for a guy over 6:10. He looks a bit a like in wing player in his moves to the basket with the ball as well as with his mid-range shots. IF he truly in now 7-0, 260 and is getting a low post game he's gonna be a very good player in college. I'd be sure there was a scholarship available for him come this November.

Wait. What?

Colorado, Oklahoma State, UCLA, North Texas

One of these isn't like the others.

I'm wondering if he had offer and recruiting letter confused?

A perfect reminder that relying on teenagers for factual news about themselves is usually a fool's errand.
