Scrempos posted double digit sacks in both his sophomore and junior seasons. He has the size to play several different positions, although Washington's old staff offered him as a DE. We recruited a couple players from Milpitas during this recruiting cycle, so expect Scrempos to get a long look from the coaching staff.

6'6 with double digit sacks? Yes please. We need to break the tradition of 6'2 DE's.

Also with Cal being a mess it should be a great time to recruit hard in the Bay area. I expect that we can grab a couple out from under the Bears noses by offering early.

Recent update on Scout shows Wazzu and Arizona have offered. Definitely a prospect to watch.

Hope we hear more about CU interest going forward. Exact type of DE currently missing on the roster.

I could go with a couple of bookends about the size of Williams and McGee as well

always battling for recruits and passed off his old boss to us. Curse you Peterson

Don't think the Buffs ever offered.

Warshington ... not sure where it started. My grandparents (Illinois) are really bad about saying it that way, so is St. Louis Cardinals announcer Mike Shannon. He's usually pretty bombed though.

Odd, especially given our ties to the yay area. Milspenis used to be pretty decent - not sure how good they are now.

That definitely must be a southern Illinois thing (we don't really consider that Illinois). I'm from Chicago and have never heard that pronunciation there. I always thought it was an East coast (not northeast) thing.

I grew up in Mt. Vernon which is about an hour east of STL. Everyone there says warshington, or warsh like car warsh. Drives me nuts.
