BOULDER – The University of Colorado women’s soccer team begins Pac-12 Conference play this weekend when it hosts No. 12 California on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. at Prentup Field.

The Buffaloes (7-2) have won four in a row, their longest winning streak of the season and face a Bears team that posted its best non-conference record since 2011 with an 8-1 mark. Saturday’s match will be only the second time the Bears have made the trip to Boulder, Colo.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early to see Ralphie run before kickoff and there will also be free giveaways and prizes courtesy of State Farm.

Match Notes

I believe somebody was asking about when Ralphie was going to run at one of the games

Serious question: If CU is 7-2 and playing in the PAC-12, why is the team not ranked?

Are Kansas and Kent State good this year? Those were your two loses...

I know KU was undefeated when we played them.

Anyway, I've watched quite a bit of our team this year. It took them some time to start to gel in the midfield. Seems to be coming together. After that OT loss to Kansas, they're 4-0 with a 10-1 scoring advantage. Most especially, the 2-1 win over Denver seemed like a turning point.

Hmmn....Sounds like a good matchup.

yes to ku, no to kent st (from a coaches mouth)

I won't be able to do any play-by-play, but will provide score updates if I can.

Let's go Buffs!!!!

I didn't go today because I didn't want to miss kickoff of the football game. I watched a Cal game on PACN earlier this year. They're better than us, but an upset at home would not be a huge upset.

Make it happen, ladies!

The Buffs get another this time from Tori Cooper to cut the Cal lead to 4-2 with about 20 mins left
