GMC's head coach and athletic director is Bert Williams. Bio

In 1990 and 1991, Williams and MacIntyre both got their start in coaching together as Graduate Assistants at UGA.

Then, MacIntyre's first paid gig was as Defensive Coordinator at Davidson in 1992 where Williams had been a 4-year letterman.

Williams enters his 15th season as HC at GMC with 113 wins in his first 14 with national titles, coach of the year awards and induction into the JC coaching hall of fame.

So, long-term relationship with someone it pays to trust (70 JC All-Americans during his tenure).

Thought folks might be interested in why CU is suddenly targeting players from Georgia Military College and why we're gaining so much interest from a place so far outside our normal recruiting grounds.

Nice find, Nik. I'd rep but I just get my normal rejection statement whenever I try to rep you.

Ha. Didn't know that HCMM had coached at Davidson. My brother went there for Football from 2000 to 2004. Very fun campus/scene. They're pretty turrrble now though.

This is the type of story that once upon a time one could rely on a good newspaper to provide. Is the problem that nik will provide this story to those interested for free, or is the problem that newspapers don't invest time and energy in seeking out these stories anymore?

Regardless of the meta newspaper issues - great insight - pointless, useless knowledge that I'm actually happy about learning. Rep.
